just a pause im hoping as they clean the printers down for the mass upheld letter run on 31st August :D

    lol That's the Hope!

The last couple of times i have rang they use the '31st of August' line to end the conversation. You don't seem to get any kind of details at all other than 'we have until the 31st of august to give a final decision'. It would be nice to know if it's actually being looked at yet, or i've seen ppl on here mention their complaint being at certain stages?
oh well suppose we just have to wait for the end of August and hope it's in our Favour?

    FYI for any HSBC claimants.

I was told today that any cases where the CPI or PPI was added after the start on the card/loan as a result of a telephone call are automatically being upheld as they are unable to prove whether any sort of sales process was followed.

Good news in my case, as I don't think they even told me it was being added.

Wishing you luck honey and your very welcome xx:A:A
I hope they see through this now, but failing that, the next step is to see if the FLA can help, if they don't then we will go the underwriter/insurer direction. x;)

Hi Marko - be persistent with Lloyds TSB. I submitted a complaint with them re Credit card PPI 5th May, and received the usual correspondence etc, the latter of which was the 31st August deadline. On the advice of Ammersal, Di, Marksman et al, I emailed the CEO every couple of days after receiving this letter, until I got a final upheld offer letter last week for nearly £5,300..
I am certain it got me off their backs! Mannerly, but persistent is the way to go I think..

best of luck to you & everyone waiting for what is rightly yours!
