I'm using this email bert.pijls@citi.com Does anyone know if it is the correct one?

Its rubbish customer service isn't it? Even if he sent a 'thank you we are dealing with your complaint' type thing that would be some thing at least.

Do you have the cr email address to hand at all? Maybe I shall email them too?

This is the email i sent - i got a phone call in less than mins. I used the same to the CEO for RBS - and got an email reply same day.

Dear Sir

Unbelievable this is my 3rd email to you as still no acknowledgement in relation to my previous ones.

I am appalled by this treatment is this how you treat all your customers and is this really treating the customers fairly?

So, Ian O'doherty has just emailed me back in regard to the total refund for my hubby's credit card.
They sent me a couple of letters saying need more time to investigate and should have a reply by 19th July but couldn't wait so emailed him yesterday, he said the complaint would be upheld then i emailed him back yesterday to see how much the refund was for, he has just sent me another email to say
Total refund £702.13
PPI Premiums £524.39
Associated Interest £177.44

The total refund will come off the balance of the card. bringing it down to £1975. Happy Day's!

thats great news i have got one in with MBNA how long did yours take to resolve did you have to wait a long time?

Had ppi claim with mbna filled in their online complaint form and it has taken about 5 -6 weeks to resolve in my favour so pretty quick as an ex gold card member maybe i was priveleged LOL:rotfl:
• I've recently had my complaint upheld in my favour and have had figures through, which were lower than I was expecting. I have lost all faith in banks and so am now worried that they may be trying to underpay me. I've had the credit card since 1998 and my current balance on it is £4,800. They have offered me: £2,339 for refund of PPI premiums, £748 for interest associated with PPI premiums and £168 for total amount associated with 8%. I asked for a breakdown of the figures and they do go back to 1999 (when they say the policy started) but I am not sure if this is right. Please help someone!!

HI and welcome and well done :T
It depends on how used your card, how long did it take you to build up to £4000
£4000 Balance on Card from 1/1/1999 to today £8015
£4000 Balance on Card from 1/1/2010 to today £4421

Hi all hope u guys dont mind, but i have jumped on the band wagon of emailing the CEO of RBS lastnight, sending him all threads of emails i previously sent to the CEO of CITI, who advised as the account was sold to OPUS its nothing to do with them. I got the below in reply today.

So fingers crossed

Many thanks for your e-mail which has just been received by Stephen Hester's office.

After reading your e-mail, I have arranged for a manager from our Credit Card Team to investigate your complaint and, to ensure that you get a full response. OC,

what are those figures, surely a balannce on a CC of £4000 from 1/1/2010 wouldnt work out to a £4421 payout?

Hi all,

Well after over 2 years of my husband's complaint going on (20 months with the FOS) we had a letter a few days ago saying that Lloyds are willing to settle without admitting liability. Which is good but I am hoping they don't write to him saying to accept whatever they offer without knowing the figures (if you know what I mean?).

He has a credit card still but PPI was cancelled, about 18 months ago. He has had this since he was 18 and living at home, he is now nearly 30. He also had a loan (small one and paid off when 18/19) and we are not sure if ppi was added to that but I believe they were taking all in to consideration. The FOS also said they believe Lloyds should pay him £200 in compensation but will they still offer that?

Should Lloyds provide figures before we accept any offer?

Any help would be appreciated.

:)
