    Hi All
    I had a loan with Abbey national(Santander)
I have always rejected any insurance on things like, tv's etc...
So I thought there would be no way I had PPI on my loan. After seeing Martin on TV, I thought, "well he did say it's only a stamp" So I sent a letter. £10k over 5 years
Four weeks later I get an offer for £939.
    Couldn't believe it.
Thank you Martin & your team.

firstly many congrats for your case being upheld but make sure you ask santander for a breakdown of the figures as £939 for a £10000 loan doesnt seem quite right to me as in not enough for such a large amount borrowed i could be very wrong so anyone else feel free to correct me but does this seem low to anyone else?

Had a loan which finished this year. With Alliance and Leicester, i remembered the forced sale of PPI and after reading the advice on here i thought i would give it a go to see what happens. I printed off the form from here and sent it to Santander. 5 weeks later a letter has come through the door, they have upheld the complaint and are refunding the PPI plus 8%. £2500 on its way to me just for the price of a stamp (well it was my money anyway i was missold the protection;)). :money:

  • Postie just been and the ombudsman have asked me to fill in a form, its regarding ppi on cap 1 cc. cap 1 said i ticked the box for ppi but the tick on the form they sent me is inconsistant with all the other ticks(Liars) Idid not ask for this. Also in the form i have just sent off to ombudsman i also included a payment protecton which i had independanly with payment shield. So you see there was no reason for me to have ticked this box. Hopefully this ombudsman will see this for themselves. CAPITAL ONE ARE SUCH NAUGHTY LIARS. Any one else had this problem? Thanks in advance x

    Re-send :D;)

    Re-sent at 09:30 ish.

I really wouldn't like to be the person that picks up the phone tomorrow if I don't get any response to either of my emails.:rotfl:

Even a 'Thank you for your email, unfortunately we are very busy and yet to look at your case' would be a start.

So today is day 28 of waiting for a cheque off MBNA which will 'be sent to me within 28 days'

It's not very likely to come is it?!! Anyone have the email address of the CEO so I can contact them as soon as my postie comes without my cheque today?

    Thanks
