    Rae,

would think you would have a hard job here without any proof of the PPI being added

However, can you post up the loan details? that way we can work out roughly whether or not PPI was added

    So -

    Original amount lended
    APR % stated on agreement
    Number of repayments
    Amount of monthly payment £

    ?

    this is what it says
    KEY FINANCIAL INFORMATION
    amount of credit (c-d)
    a- £5649
    duration of agreement 48 months
    B - 10023.55
one rpayment of £169.00 payable then monthly of 165.65 final £284.65
    apr 20.2%

    OTHER FINANCIAL INFORMATION
    C 759900
    D-1950 (mine deposit)
    1.hire purchase charge £2136.55
    2.CREDIT FACILITY £169
    3.CRDIT FACILITY FEE 109.00
    4.PURCHASE FEE £10.00

    TOTAL CHARGES 1+2+3+4 £2424.55
    INTEREST 16.31%

I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE - MY MONTHLY PAYMENT WERE 165.65

    RAE.

    Hi Rae

I'm afraid to say it doesnt sound like you had PPI

    Looking at the basics:

    - After the deposit you borrowed £5649
    - They charged you £2136 in interest

The total of the above = £7785

    48 x 165.65 = £7951.20

So if you deduct the £169 and £109 credit facility charges, that comes out about bang on

Interest of £2136 on £5649 over 48 months does sound like around 20.2%

So unless someone else on here knows different, I'd be inclined to not bother pursuing this one, sorry

    :(

Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

Well done on your win against Debenhams:D

There are quite a few of us on here who are having major problems trying to get a response from Santander / GE Money or the underwriter of the insurance. Do you mind me asking if your card was taken out pre 2005 when Santander came under the FOS?
Mine was taken out in Feb 2002, never wanted it and it's now with the FOS who are chasing Finance Insurance Company Ltd. a part of Genworth Finance.

    Well done again:D
