So happy 2nd win! With capital one cc this time on behalf of my partner! It was only £204.96 so a small win compared to many but considering the credit limit was only £300 not bad! Only sent questionnaire on 10/6/11 so did not expect a reply yet! My partner now is so grateful I sent his claims off for him, he didn't think we would get anything back!! As it's a closed card that money will by us a car roof box for our holiday in Ireland, well chugged!!!! Congrats again everybody on all recent successes!!!:j:beer:0

Quick question. How can I find out if any of my past credit cards had PPI on them? Most are cancelled now and I have no paperwork or anything for them.
Thanks x
Hiya
How long ago roughly did you take them out?
If you still have any monthly statements the details should be on them, but otherwise try to remember what you can, give them a ring, or if you have a local branch, call in and ask them to check the systems files for you.;) xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

should i request a SAR for sending to the FOS on the other one, it was from 1999
That is up to you hun, you can do if you want to, but not sure if they will still hold details, yet if you go to the FOS, the FOS will ask them for info and suddenly they turn up.
The choice if yours, you do what you feel is right x;):jThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Marksman....
I received the same letter from Egg last week even though I was still paying the PPI on my loan (plus interest) until January last year! I rang them to tell them this and they said they would 'review' my claim! Not sure if they were fobbing me off again?! Can't decide now whether to give them a bit of time to 'review' it or just go to FOS or possibly go the court route (although bit scared of that one!).0 -

Thanks for your update, my letter stated that its was their finale response so its off to the FOS for mine. If they said they would review yours id give them a little time, and request an email update from them every 2 weeks etc till they have had a total of 16 weeks like the rest of the banks seem to have been granted, then id go to the FOS with yours too if it isnt their finale response, make sense? bloody hope so lol:rotfl:

Just thought i would share my good news,£3500 paid back from rbs,my advice to anyone who have ppi claims against rbs is,harrass, mither, barrack, shout and scream and eventually someone will listen, also in addition to this offer they are going to add "consolidated interest accrued" if anyone can shed any light on this it would be a great help.Good luck to everyone still waiting,u will get there in the end. :j WELL DONE :j:beer:
