    An update:

I've just logged on to my Egg loan account, and the balance has been reduced by £528, my monthly payment has been reduced by £33 per month and it is now saying that I have no insurance. I'm assuming then that my PPI was £33 per month and this has been deducted off my monthly repayment, and the balance has been adjusted according - 15 months left on the loan.

Am I to assume then that the term of the loan is 84 month (less the 15 months it looks like they have refunded) = 69 months x £33 is the amount owed to me - £2277 + 8% interest (approx £1047.42) - so I should expect payment of about £3324.42?

    Well done to you!:T:j Congratulations:beer:

It looks that way, but they will confirm this to you if you contact them just to be sure.;)

Update : well today i received another letter from barclays already so thought it was a bit odd as wasnt expecting one till september lol
Anyway it basically says that they are not in a position to provide me with a full response and that i can go to the FOS if i wished.
So im guessing this is yet another std letter being sent out again . i decided i may aswell wait tho as its a month earlier still than i was expecting to wait, although the money now would get me out a massive hole i got myself in.:(
Anyone else got this letter from barclays?

I have just got off the phone to FOS - my claim with Barclays is with FOS and has been for a while.
Barclays and FOS have come to agreement whereby claims are being bulk settled in accordance with the FOS guidelines.
Mine must have now come to the top of the pile and is now being dealt with.
Barclays will calculate what is due and make me an offer within 8 weeks from the 14th of July.
This is I guess in line with their recent no quibble approach in an effort to clear the backlog.

Id hang in there with Barclays rather than send to FOS as it seems they are starting to move.

    Keep hassling 'em!!

Just thought i would share my good news,£3500 paid back from rbs,my advice to anyone who have ppi claims against rbs is,harrass, mither, barrack, shout and scream and eventually someone will listen, also in addition to this offer they are going to add "consolidated interest accrued" if anyone can shed any light on this it would be a great help.Good luck to everyone still waiting,u will get there in the end.

Well i've had some fantastic news this morning. Had an old loan with HFC from 1999 but had no paperwork. Sent off anyway just to see. HFC didn't want to know so i sent it to the FOS, After 6 months due to lack of info they could not uphold (This was in a letter from the FOS dated June 17th) However today another letter from the FOS stating they had heard from HFC and they are willing to settle my complaint. Acceptance form signed and sent back today to the FOS who will then forward on to HFC who will send the cheque!! What a result i'm so happy. Could be a large amount due to the time since the loan was taken out :-)

Out of interest when did you put your complaint in?..... I'm still waiting to hear from Natwest/RBS.
