    ;) MASSIVE THANK YOU;)

:D Di, Amersall & all who have helped me on my way! :D

What were you reclaiming: Loan from 2002
    Who was the provider: Egg
How much did you get back: £4632.94
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: filled in the consumer compliant questionnaire & took all your good advice

And then write your brief reclaim tale

sent off my questionnaire on 6th May, got a letter from egg stating they had my questionnaire for 4 weeks 25th May, then got a we need more time on the 23rd June, then a cheque for the above in the post today! Result :j
:D All the very best to everyone with your progessions :D

Just seen this...brilliant news for you! Its very funny how we were keeping up with each others cases with Egg. Still going with mine, had a letter back to say if I want to take it further I need to go to the FOS. I rang them to dispute their reasons for rejecting my claim and they say that they will 'review' my claim.....not sure if that was another fob off??!!

Any way, you give us hope that we will get some where!!

    Congratulations!

    Hiya

I understand there have been a few on here who have made reclaims, and have ongoing cases with them.
    That is far too long.
I would email the CEO (Chief Exectutive officer) and tell him your not happy about this. Tell him its been 8 months and you expected better customer service on this matter.

    Good luck.

    Your very welcome.:D;)

Right, well I came across some details, but you may already have these, up to now no link to the CEO, I will ask around though, but otherwise on the link below (I assume its the same Citi financial as yours), there are details of on how to contact and complain.

If you have an account with them (online) there is a way to email them, but otherwise there are tel numbers.

Oh please let me know if these are not the correct bank, cheers.

An update for those waiting on MBNA. I got my letter from them in about 4 days, first one was sorry you think you were misssold and we'll get back to you within 28 days, received second letter yesterday saying sorry for delay, but looking to have issue a response by 4th Aug. Seeing that they can't calculate time, maybe I'll receive an positive response sometime next week!!!:rotfl:

well im new to the PPI reclaim so thought i would post now and join in :) so heres whats happened so far:
Put in Claim with Barclays on 9th May
    Recieved letter acknowledgment 11th may
Recieved update letter 8th June saying need extra time contact before 7th July
Recieved letter saying they need more time again and will reply to my complaint by 1st Sept

Im claiming over £2500 on missold PPI so fingers crossed

After seeing such success in the forums from other banks :T and not so much from Barclays :( im desperate to see the next letter in the post.

Update : well today i received another letter from barclays already so thought it was a bit odd as wasnt expecting one till september lol
Anyway it basically says that they are not in a position to provide me with a full response and that i can go to the FOS if i wished.
So im guessing this is yet another std letter being sent out again . i decided i may aswell wait tho as its a month earlier still than i was expecting to wait, although the money now would get me out a massive hole i got myself in.:(
Anyone else got this letter from barclays?
Total Debt left £2501 :Total PPI reclaiming: £2500. Fingers crossed!

    Hi there
Yes it is that of a standard one, and they have to let you know your rights of the FOS, but hopefully it won't be too long now, they cannot go over the extra time they have been given by the FSA, and must be dealt with by or before the timescales the FSA have give, so fingers crossed.;)
