drum role please ... dum dum da da (however it sounds)

    Capital ONE HAS COUGHED UP.

Ok after my 1st email to the CE and another the other day i stated in it my orginal docs i did not tick the cash back / nor ppi yet 1 year after having the card y would i take it when my circumstances had not changed. I also req a copy of the telephone transcript which they state

"Whilst I am confident that the PPI sale took place when you activated your replacement card, we have been unable to confirm a specific date as to when this call took place. Therefore, to resolve matters for you, we are prepared to refund all premiums added with the associated interest. This refund consists of £1,724.73 for the premiums, £57.65 for the interest accrued on the premiums and a further 8% interest of £632.40. The total refund is £2,414.78 and fully represents any refund that would be awarded by the Financial Ombudsman Service. "

    SO HAPPY DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS YEAH
THANK YOU GUYS- THANK YOU GUYS
just a pity they are taking if off they balance which they gave me a ccj for.

Well done Rae :T:j And Congratulations:beer:
Even though they are refunding towards the balance, did they say that the interest will be paid directly to you, I assumed this was the case, check on this otherwise, but well done x;)

    Hello Everyone

I just wanted to say a big thank you for everyone on the forum. I have been reading all these stories for the past four months on how to reclaim my PPI.

I just wanted to say that my claim with Welcome Finance went through and I was awarded with £2500 which I was so delighted with. Wasn't expecting so much.

Just keep at these companies I have been phoning every week trying to get update and results show. So everyone please don't quit. Now waiting for my other claims with Sainsbury and Barclays.

    Good Luck everyone.:)

Hi and welcome (no pun intended) lol :D

That's fab :T:j Well done and Congratulations

I just don't get it... I called Egg about a month ago and they said they had some while to go before dealing with February's (when I complained) complaints.

So why are people who complained way after me getting paid out before me?

I'll give them a call in the morning - really annoyed now.

Great news you've got paid out though! I just think the differing timescales are very fishy.

    Hiya

I would ask them about this.
I suppose it can also depend on who's desk it ends on, as they use so many to deal with complaints.
Keep nagging at them to get it done. Good luck x;)

Indeed I will! It's so tantalising, this waiting to be debt-free. Please God let me have the cojones to not get into any more debt once that happens...
