Tell me about it - I'm having the same issues with Egg at the moment - I'm phoning them on a bi-daily basis asking for them to send the agreement0 -

Also did you send them £1 for this. Some companies will not send them out without the £1 and also perhaps a letter by recorded delivery may help. They then know you mean business and have to provide it within 12 days.0 -

Might be best to enclose a £1 and send another letter request by recorded delivery so they know you mean business.0 -
You should be supplied the agreement within 12 days usually. They can charge £1 for this and also did you send it recorded delivery too?

Hi,
Thanks for you replies, I did not send it by recorded delivery and I did not insert a £1 pound cheque. I will get on the case now and re-send it.
Thanks again for your replies.

Congratulations!!!
Was the loan with Barclaycard or Barclays Bank itself?
Hi
The loan was from Barclays Bank plc itself. Not from Barclaycard.
Hope this helps.
P.S. Barclays took a full six weeks to payout after the Ombudsman-sponsored agreement. There is a usual legal limit of one month. In the end they paid up, though.0 -
Contacted Black horse lkast August sent letters got no where sent to FOS last Dec Adjuducator upheld decisionin our favour. in August but Black horse rejected decision and it had to go to ombudsman. Got letter yesterday he has upheld decision and Black horse have to repay us all premiums, interest and 8% per annum so sent letter away accepting(obviously). So now need to wait to see how much we get will post when we find out.0

I just wanted to start by thanking Martin and every on else on this site for showing me what could be done.
I am dylexic and have problems with my spelling so I dont like writing letters so I did not think that I would be able to get any money back. But I rang egg and told them that I had been sold the PPI when I did not what it.
My brother (a financal adviser) had allways told me never too get PPI, but the guy on the phone had said, that if I did not get it, I would most likly not get the loan.
Any way I explaned to egg that I could not write in, and that under the disability discrimination act they should look into my clame any way. The lady was very helpfull.
Any way less then a week later, I got a letter saying that I had been credited £5,251.93 to my loan, and that my loan would now finish early.
This for me is a total result, and I am very very happy.
One thing though, I know that others have said, that this money should be given to you in your bank as a check!? Is this the case, cos if so thats how I would have liked it. As it would clear all my other debts, inc over draft and credit card, giving me a low APR loan, that I have never missed a payment for. If I could do it this way, I would be well on my way to being debt free. Any one got any advise on this.
Thanks
A very happy Dave
Just to let you know, after the sucsess, of my egg PPI, I aproched HSBC, and manged to get back £240.37 I only asked for 96.88, the 4 payments I had made, so did really well on this one.
I am still waiting back my bank charges and my sainsburys bank credit card charges, If I can get them back, I will be allmost debt free, I cant wait!
