Hiya
From what I understand, its the same email address as HSBC and HFC did get back to me on this one the day after, however its the chief executive officer (CEO) email as the HFC customer service address is no longer active.
So try this one below, and tell them your still waiting to know if your complaint have been received as its been 3 weeks, you will though have to give them your name and address details so they can try tracking it down.
Chiefexecutive@hsbc.com
Let me know if you get any problems and I will check the address again for you.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi all, First post, but I think I need some help.
I submitted a request to Natwest asking for a copy of the credit agreement relating to a loan my wife took out some time ago.
She has paid off the loan in full some time ago so for some reason we didn't have the paper work. Used the first claiming template to ask for the paper work and got the following reply:Our policy on disclosure to customers of information contained in our records is that we will comply fully with our legal obligations. These legal obligations arise under the CCA and the Data Protection Act.
Under the CCA we will act on a S. 77(1) or S. 78(1) request if the regulated agreement has not ended.
As the loan has ended we have no obligation to provide the information you request. Accordingly I am returning your fee of £1.00
Can I push further on this? Or is this a legit brick wall I have hit?
Thanks

Custom/Nutty,
You both now have to submit a SAR(subject access request) you pay a fee of £10, best with a postal order, and submit them to the bank. The more information you can supply the better, or even before you try that go to your local branch and speak to the manager and see if they can pull up the details on their system, it's amazing what they can find, all you'll need is the loan account number/credit card number, and you're reason's for mis-sale to you, then complete your FOS questionnaire but try the bank first, and failing that submit the SAR.
Good luck and keep us posted. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
OK, we have today had a offer of goodwill from RBS/Natwest for £2.269 this will be without any admission and liability, they have done a breakdown on the figures which covers 3 loans, i know the insurance premium on one loan was £2691, on the breakdowns they have also deducted tax at 20%, so not really sure where to go here its not a bad offer but is it right, it does not say it is their final offer but they have included the FOS booklet.0

Hi
Thank you for that I managed to find our Egg account no last week so have sent my questionnaire back in the post, fingers crossed, we havent't heard anything yet.;)
Can anybody please help me with this:
We took out a loan with Central trust as the broker at the end of 2005 the loan was with Firstplus, we had £10,000 of ppi added at the start of the loan. We then topped the Firstplus loan up in 2006 and had another £20,000 of ppi added to the loan.
At the end of May 11 we put a claim in for missold ppi with Central trust and Firstplus. Yesterday we received a final offer from Central trust which was for £2177.78 and that figure included all interest. I called the complaint handler yesterday and asked how he came to that figure: he told me because my husband had answered no to the question over the telephone, do you have any other existing arrangements, they took it that my husband had no company benefits. When he had got all the benefits the question had not been made clear to my husband what it ment. Also when my husband had been asked a queation about life cover he said yes for himself and no for me, when we both did have cover and terminal illness benefit. This is their excuse for the low offer.
I called the FOS yesterday for advice and they have now taken on my case which i was told could take up to a year to resolve. Do you think I have done the correct thing not accepting the offer and do you think it was a good offer from Central Trust?0
