So sorry about that. So damn annoying isn't it.

I done all the nagging with mine and did so daily, so I think its just a matter of doing that just to get somewhere.

Thankyou so much everybody, I also have been following this thread for a couple of months now!! So far have sent letters to receive PPI on 5 CC or loans & 1 for my partner. Sent letter to Egg on 10/06/11 & received letter this morning having upheld PPI & being refunded £1,253.16! Very excited, though has been taken off my balance (well not yet in bank, but fingers crossed it will be soon!) although would have been nice to get the money in hand, still grateful to get my own money back! It definitely was all the positive stories that made me dig out all my paperwork & get my head out of the sand!!! Thankyou again!!

Wow - Well done you!

My complaint has been with them since last September (GM credit card).....chased em the other day & they tried to tell me that it was still on hold due to JR.
Then they said they could give me no indication as to when it will be looked at.....I need some kind of CEO contact / email for them.

I think Egg CC are now in the hands of Barclays and they are upholding all complaints held with them between certain dates;)

I have just received an email to say they have finished their investigations and I should receive the response in the next day or so. Nail biting time now! They made me a "goodwill" offer on my credit card and the reasons for mis-selling were exactly the same. So nervous about the reply.

We haven't had any information from them and it's been 4 weeks since we got that letter. Should we give them a ring to find out what's happening or just leave them to it?

PLease leave them to it, they have 8 weeks so give them this.
You will get a response so dont worry.
