    many thanks for your help

everyone dont give up i could of at the start when the woman at loans co uk said it wasnt there fault
    keep going xxx

Normally what they do is put you in the position as if you never had the ppi.

I think they may take this amount off your loan, I'm not 100% on this one though, it may be worth calling to ask them or even call fos to clarify.

  • Has anyone had a successful ppi claim from LloydsTSB Credit Card yet, either direct from them or with the FOS adjudicating against them ?. Also how long did it take please ?, i am still awaiting an allocated adjudicator with the FOS after 11 months !.

I have to assume from the response so far that Nobody at all has had a successful ppi claim from Lloydstsb credit cards so far. Is this really true ? OR is there some sort of major stalling tactic taking place on the part of LTSB Credit Cards.
  • I have reclaimed PPI on a personal loan from Abbey taken in 2003. I was sold the insurance as a condition of being accepted for the loan. I used the letter template from this website initially and then completed the bank's own complaints process.

And I've just got back nearly £6,000!! This represents all of the premiums plus 8% interest. There was no question or resistance from the bank.

I've never attempted anything like this before - I must admit that I was a bit doubtful about doing it - and I can't believe how easy it was. If you're wondering if it could work for you then just check the list of what might apply to you and give it a go - there's really nothing to lose and SO much to gain.

I have read there has been success within Lloyds but not on here quite yet, my case of Credit Card PPI (lloyds) is currently being dealt with by an adjudicator (FOS), I was sold a Credit Card in 2001, a homemaker and they ticked the cover for unemployment etc.....I did also think at the time it was part of the credit card agreement.

I should be posting on the reclaim forums over the next few days as my adjudicator is supposed to be getting back to me with some further feedback but the last feedback was that lloyds did not want to uphold my complaint, the adjudicator had raised further issues, so hopefully I will get some news this week.

I will be posting the outcome of this over at the ppi reclaim success forum.;)
Hope you get some luck with these.;)

Claim against HFC (Beneficial Finance) upheld.

Raised complaint via email, (no template letter) few chase calls after the 40 days expired, offered £2100 refund against the current balance. Total time approx 11 weeks, although I think I was quite lucky. The knowledge on this forum was invaluable in getting across that I knew what I was talking about and my rights as a consumer.

    This forum is fantastic!

Thanks for that information Di, i was beginning to think i was the only person chasing a ppi claim against Lloydstsb cc, i hope your claim is soon successfully concluded but could you tell me how long it was from first contacting the FOS to being allocated an adjudicator to deal with it. Then how long has it been since the adjudicator began until now ?.

    Hi there hunni.
Good luck to you too hun.;)

This one was pretty quick really then I did ask for fast track due to my personal finance circumstances, this one went in for end June going into July 2008 and its been with the adjudicator for well over a month now, so call it approx 2 months with this one, although my hubby is still waiting to hear about his, as his have not been passed on quite yet, and he has also requested for fast track, right now he is sick from work only receiving the basic SSP, his complaint went in a little after mine, it should be anytime now he should receive an update letter.;)

I will keep you posted, but I know Lloyds are not the easiest, its even harder I think if you bank with them....... .

We will keep battling though hun and you please do too.;)

    Good luck

    Di.

  • ;) Thanks for the info Di, i do bank with Lloydstsb so that may not help but i will be keeping at them until this is concluded one way or another and i am reasonably sure that they will "cough up" once i have an Ajudicator allocated at the FOS and working on them because back in March this year i managed to get over £5k refunded in respect of ppi on a Loan with them and they caved in on that one before the FOS got at them. The reason for my claim being the same as on the Credit Card.
Thanks again and good luck with yours.
