    Hi All,

Just thought I would update you on my progress with NRAM (Northern Rock). Established a complaint with them over the phone, after 5 weeks got letter of offer, offer accepted.:j:j

Just chased acceptance and payment of offer- they say could take another 3 weeks for payment to reach me- not entirely happy about that!:mad:

    Anybody had a similar response?

    Congratulations!:T:T Well Done!

    HSBC SUCCESS

    Hi all,

Update on HSBC compliaint sent July 2010

    Lender : HSBC
Reason for complaint: Severe Pre existing medical conditions and self employed (Director of own company)
    Date: July 2010
    Decision: June 2011

Claim placed on hold due to JR (dec)

Have telephoned them once a week since result of JR to be told that they are "awaiting guidelines on how to proceed" Telephoned again wednesday (15th) to be told the same, asked to speak to a manager as this was unacceptable considering the length of time involved. Lady came back on the phone to tell me that she had now received permission from her manager to look at my case. I should hear back within 2 weeks.

Got a call from the same lady yesterday Thurs 16th to say it is a clear cut case, uphold letter in the post with calculations. Sorry for the delay.

Received letter this morning fri 17th offering full refund of premiums and 8%. Just under £4000 !

Needless to say offer signed and sent back, 7 to 10 days for refund as I have an account with them.

Thanks to everyone for their help in this, especially Dizzy Di....you a star!

Your very welcome.:A Well done and Congratulations!

Just received the first letter from Barclays regarding my credit card and confirming there will be an offer of a goodwill gesture by 31st August and will include all PPI premiums paid to date and associated interest, plus 8%. As I have had the card for eons I have no idea how much it will be but "WELL DONE, BARCLAYS".
I have 2 other outstanding complaints on hold, which I had sent to FOS in March. Hope to hear about them too soon.

    Fantastic!:T:j Congratulations!

    Lender: HSBC
complaint: Told PPI was essential not optional
    Claim posted: May 10th 2011
    Decision received: June 17th 2011

It seems my email to HSBC CEO helped speed things along (thanks to info. found in these forums), I received a letter today admitting that they had no evidence to discredit my claim and have offered to pay off the remainder of my loan plus pay me £12,121.52 (which includes £2,597.22 interest). Total with loan repaid £13,052.27!!

This covers PPI on 4 loans taken out in the last decade or so. To be honest I'm amazed.

Thanks to all on here for their information and support!

    Wonderful!:T:j Congratulations!

Had some good news today, 5 weeks after putting cliam on via online MBNA have said they have upheld my claim of £3500 in payments during the course, £8,000 in interest and £1,300 at 8%, giving me £13,000 !

Didn't expect them to come back as quick, but so glad i didn't go via a claim agency as would of lost a load of that in commission !!

    Brilliant!:T:j Congratulations!
