Good Morning All,
I have sent PPI Complaints to Cahoot (santander), Barclaycard and nationwide and halifax credit card
Cahoot Made me in full just over 2k just two weeks after sending them a letter:T thankyou Santander:j
nationwide are still looking into it.
halifax have also confirmed they are looking into it
Barclaycard have sent me a letter today saying " we are looking into your concerns and will let you have a reply or update as quickly as possible to assist our investigations, please complete the attached"
they have enclosed a Payment Protection Insurance :consumer Questionaire.
my question is do i need to complete thi?, as they should have all the information if they sold the policy to me correctly!
Also I have credit limits on the cards that i am claiming against , do you think they will reduce limit / cancel my credit cards after they pay the premiums back
Thank you inadvance for you help
I will keep you updated regarding my claims

Hi there
I understand the online application were an opt out, so not everyone was aware of this, so if it were automatically included it was a matter of unticking it, and with some online applications it was a case of not being able to continue with the following page unless the ppi was accepted.
I would now then if this was the final decision made by Cap One move on to the FOS, enclose as much information as you can remember, keep at them, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

First of all well done on your success!
And good luck on the others too.;)
It seems these questionnaires are normal standard practice now, but you can always ring them to make sure first if you want to, despite already making a complaint some will request to complete the questionnaire as well, although they may have just sent it as a normal procedure, best to double check on this.
In regards of the credit limits, your only making a reclaim in your own right, and they should not cancel or reduce to what I am aware of, maybe someone else can clarify on this, but to what I know if they should not do this and must treat you fairly as a customer.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Well Done!!! Can i ask how long it took them to pay the money in to your account, we were offered 1603.00 last saturday signed form and sent it back the same day. Just wondered how long it would take them to pay it in. Many Thanks and congratulations.0

Hi there
Reclaiming questionnaires replaced template letters on this site, banks have changed to questionnaires as well, so either follow the link step 3 below to reclaim questionnaires or check on that actual bank website who may have them as well.
Hope this helps and good luck.

If that is right then you do not have to send the template, you could ring them and ask what is happening to your claim.
If i read your post wrong, sorry, but i see Di has given you the link to the template letters.0 -
Di, thanks for your reply.
Cap1's letter to me says it was a case of a tick box, so i would have had to choose NO - and they claim i chose YES, and they gave me 30 day cooling off period and complete Ts & Cs in the post.
I cannot honestly remember, it was 6 years and two autistic children ago, kwim?
However, i KNOW they were fined for not sending out complete Ts & Cs for the time period we took the card out. So.....
also, the card was, according to them, taken out completely online and without us ever speaking to a human being - what about distance selling rules?
am currently building up my evidence base for the ombudsman, inc the first letter we got, any emails ican find around that time, etc. Is there anything else we can do to help ourselves here?0
