Just got £7610.62 from santander on being misold a income replacer policy from abby national in 1996 we really cant believe it one phone call and 5weeks later this news .Good luck everyone who is claiming...

Another great result from Santander, they may have scored low in customer service polls recently, but they seem to be out doing everyone, perhaps someone should be alerting Martin to this so he can highlight this in one of his tv appearances, after all, good to criticise where due, but they should be applauded for this attitude and behaviour too.

Agree 100%, and Santander did not go with the JR they dealt with claims as usual, i take my hat off to them.

Hi Michelle,

I am not sure if it a confidential question, but would you be able to tell me on what grounds you were successful with LTSB when reclaiming PPI. I have copies of 2 agreements I have sent off along with the FOS complaint form and am hopeful.

Would be good to compare notes.

Completely agree, they were fantastic with both of my complaints, still have one pending but it was only logged with them yesterday, but they sorted both of my other complaints in less that 2 weeks including paying the money into my account, thumbs up for Santander!!! :j

Have just been offered over £7,500 from santander took out income replacer insurance in 1994 from abbey national and telephoned santander 5weeks ago fella on phone said there was no dept for this insurance claim only for ppi told him i thought it was the same thing only with a different name he took all my deatails 3days later got letter saying they were looking at complaint got offer today...yes i am taking offer ...good luck to everyone out there xxxxcathy
