Just been back here lurking for a while and enjoying reading about peoples successes. So good to be back, after being on the benefits thread. People very judgemental on there and I felt really upset yesterday. Its spurred me on to chase up about my CC ppi and my daughters store card ppi so thats good

Dont be upset! life is far too short to worry about what others think:D

no one has the right to judge others too! as everyone needs help from time to time and those who judge will be sure to be a the front of the que when their lucks run out too lol:D

yes keep on and good luck:j

Two letters received from Lloyds today via Loans-PPI.
These were prevously held up due to the JR.

They have upheld on the 2 and these are going back from 2000 to 2001.

    Success.

Cheers for the support folks x:j:j

I was coming to the end of a loan for £25k and after all the random phone calls asking if i've been mis-sold PPI then after checking a few websites i thought i may have a claim. I was so tempted to take the easy route and use a third party to claim for me (around 20% of the claim going to them if i win. some were more)
Then I read through Martins advice and thought, this sounds too easy, what the hell are people using a third party. to cut a long story short I got a letter of them today offering me a £6500 refund including 8% interest (loan via HFC). took 4 weeks start to finish having sent 1 letter.

they even looked into a previous loan with them without asking.

Please don't use third parties, I suspect in time they will automatically refund without request. Its your money, you deserve it back!

Thanks Martin and the experts on here.
    Brilliant, well done and congrats:T:T

    Hi

I originally contacted MBNA in Nov 10 using Martin's template to reclaim missold PPI on an account I've had for over 10 years. I was put on hold by them pending the court case on PPI which was settled in the FOS favour in May. I expected it to be a while yet before I heard from them but got a letter yesterday saying my claim was being upheld and that settlement would be figured out and made within 8 wks. I'm so pleased with this result even though I dont know the amount yet. This is despite being told by several claims companies who contacted me wanting to act on my behalf that claims made by individuals about credit card PPI were unlikely to be upheld. Thanks Martin, once again. :j

    Brilliant, well done:beer::beer:

I have just heard from Santander (just one week) after making my complaint by telephone to say that they are upholding my complaint for mis-sold MPPI which is fantastic news, I just wondered if someone is able to tell me how much I should expect to be offered?

    We paid £67.82 for 6 years & 6 months.

    Many thanks

Marvellous, hope you get the cheque just as quickly.

    Hello all.
I have been following without posting for long enought...until now!
After listening to your advice, I decided to send off the template letter to reclaim PPI on 3 loans. That was 2 weeks ago...to my astonishment, today, I received a letter from Santander offering me a full PPI premium refund plus 8%. Giving me a grand total of £2842.80.
I cannot thank you all enough for the help you have given me throught this website. I am getting married this year and now we can actualy afford a honeymoon. I cant stop smiling.:D
    Chris.

Fantastic..Santander seem to be rolling over pretty quickly as with many others. Should think so too. :D Well done:T:T
