Hope they get back to you now after the bank holiday, good luck.

Thanks so much for that, I will definitely e-mail them over the weekend and let you know the outcome.
  • Does anyone know where I can get the addresses to write off to the following companies

Barclay Masterloan (I have the address for Barclaycard but not the loan, do you think it will be the same address?).

    Direct Line loans

Any help would be gratefully received - I have just found I had loans previously with these two companies and I had totally forgotten about them!!! One was taken out in 2004 and paid off in 2005 and the other in 2002 and paid off in 2005. I cant remember if I had PPI on these so I need to write first to check.

I also found out that I had had two Barclaycard accounts - they have the form for one but now I am wondering should I send in a second form for the one I have just found!

    Thanks

    Hi Di,

So does that actually mean that the older the loan/credit card that you had PPI on, the more interest you will get back? Correct me if i'm wrong! ;)

    Hiya

Well that is what I think, maybe someone can clarify on this one for us, just to be sure.;)

    Hi there

To what I know of if you were self employed and this did not cover for you at the time at the time you taken this out, then this is wrong because then you would not make a successful claim, for eg, unemployment etc, I am not sure if things will change now further on now that your employed.
However, if your not happy with the way this was sold to you after finding out about the mis selling of this product you do have the right to complain, because this product was obviously not discussed with you either.
Does your employer you work for now anyway cover you for sickness?

For more on making a reclaim....
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-credit-card-insurance#step3

Complete the above questionnaire on step 3, send to the head office or complaints section of whoever sold you the product, keep copies for yourself, and allow 8 weeks for a decision, good luck.
