    Hi everyone,
    I've never posted on any forum before but I'm so excited by recieving notification that I am entitled to £3398.22 from HSBC for mis sold PPI I just had to tell you all!!
    One letter was all it took from Martin's brilliant website in January and a little wait. HSBC wrote back saying 'give us a month to look into it....' and then the same letter again, and again, I thought I was being fobbed off.
    After watching the news about the banks throwing in the towel I gave them a ring on their direct line on the letter and the nice man told me that although he couldn't tell me what decision had been made, it HAD been made and I would receive notification in due course.
    Letter arrives Saturday morning with the great news.
    MARTIN LEWIS IS A HERO!
    This is in addition to £1500.00 from HSBC plus £600.00 from Halifax for unfair bank charges. All thanks to Martin's template letters.

    To anyone thinking of claiming... just do it, it will only cost you a stamp. Remember, IT'S YOUR MONEY.
    Love Harpella, drinking champagne and grinning lots :beer:

    great result:D:beer::D

  • Hey there, long time lurker, first time poster.

    • What were you reclaiming: HSBC Personal Loan PPI
    • Who was the provider: HSBC
    • How much did you get back: £5300 in PPI payments and interest, totalling £6300-ish!
    • Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Template letter, six weeks waiting, result!
    • And then write your brief reclaim tale: As a serving soldier, they sold me PPI that I could most likely never actually claim against unless I died, according to a legal-type friend of mine. I found the site here, sent the template letter and the rest is history!
    If you are reading this and wondering if you could get back your mis-sold PPI, then look into it! You might get some good news!

    Regards,

    Shane
