successes seem to be a little thin on the ground at the mo:(

but their has been one or two today which hopefully will bring more:D

there isnt any harm in trying and my advice is to send it off and forget about it, alot of people ask should i send the form off and then ask how much will i get without even sending the forms off:rotfl:

go for it and prepare for a goose but hope for a golden duck pmsl:D

it might be worth filling in a consumer questionnaire and enclosing that along with your letter, may help and/or speed things up

hi guys since getting the letter at beginning of week from rbs saying they did agree with me being missild i was due 0 due to it being older than 6 years been waiting for second letter for 2nd complaint to be delivered expecting same letter but SURPRISE SURPRISE they've offered me £5899 which includes interest this is the one they have seemely lost my agreement form so have to take their word on figures i'm going to take my money and run as i think getting our money back isn't going to be as easy as we thought.

    Hi there,

Has anyone recently had contact with Capital One regarding PPI on credit cards? I'm about to send my letter off to them requesting my payments be refunded, but just wondered if anyone has had any success with this recently? Or am I setting myself up for disappointment?

    Hiya

Good luck with this and yes I believe there have been success with these, so keep at them and fingers crossed.;)

    • What were you reclaiming: Cahoot Personal Loan PPI
    • Who was the provider: Santander
    • How much did you get back: £2,713.28
    • Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Less than 2 weeks after sending the template letter on this site we had a reply from Santander to say our claim had been upheld.
    • And then write your brief reclaim tale
The loan had been running since 2004. We were told when we applied for it that acceptance was conditional on taking out PPI. The without-quibble refund also includes interest of over £1000! Thank you Martin - you deserve a knighthood! :T
    Brilliant well done:T:T
