Hi everyone, its my first post on the site. I'm trying to find the template letters for ppi reclaiming but i cant seem to find them. Can someone help me please?
"i believe i was mis sold this ppi because... and give your reasons, that is all there is to it. Put the account number on and send it recorded and give them 8 weeks to respond. If you do the template letter then if this goes to the financial ombudsman, then you have to fill the form in again.
If you prefer to use the template letter then you will find it here with the reasons you may have for mis sell

I wrote to Cental Capital/ Central Trust and said i thought i was a victim on PPI miss-selling.
I received a phone call a few days later, offering all of my money back. I could have it deducted from my account, or a cheque. I chose a cheque.
£500 - easy cash!

Hi there
When you write to them, include the account number in relation of the mis sold ppi account.
Ask them to refund you your Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) you have paid into that account, and interest, also 8% interest of what a court would award.
Give your reasons on why your making a reclaim on the PPI.
Ask they get back with a decision by 8 weeks.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

When taking a closer look at the terms I saw that almost £30 of the £100 was for PPI. I remember them saying at the time we had to take this out as a condition of the loan.
The loan was taken out in December 2007, so we got it over 5 years. I do remember having visited this site before so I searched for you all and found the template letter and sent one off.
Well....yesterday, just one week later,to my amazement I recieved a reply and they are paying up!!! No arguments just a letter to say they are going to transfer the money back into our account. We are getting £987.17 repayment, £134.20 interest, and £56.50 for having had to send them a letter!!!
This is just a few hundred pounds short of what we need to settle to loan so I will be using the money to settle up and we will get a much needed £100 per month extra which I know is sad but will make so much difference to us.
I cannot thank you enough, If there is anyone reading this wondering whether to give it a go my advise is .... just do it!!! Thank you and good luck to all! :j
Thats brilliant. Well done you and its not sad, things are hard at the moment for a lot of people so its better in your pocket. Your needs are much greater than theirs.
Enjoy having the extra money and well done again.:T:T:T:beer:Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!
