If you could try to get hold of all three that would be helpful to your case.
Hopefully Robbedofmymoney will be along tomorrow to check the calculations for you, he may ask for more details, such as for how long the loan is/was for etc and when etc.;)

Okay thanks again. Will be on here again tomorrow and I'll check :D

Thank you Martin I owe you one

I have successfully reclaimed back over £9k in PPI payments (including interest) from my LTSB CC and I have done this all on my own & without the help of the Financial Ombudsman, so my message to everyone out there wondering whether to pursue this procedure or not is GO FOR IT! The banks & CC companies know they did wrong by selling these insurances to us, so why not get back all you have paid to them, after all it is your hard earned money that they have taken from you without a care

My complaint was based on the fact that I never remembered asking for PPI on my CC (which I did not) and as I had read in the National press & here on Martins website about the miss-selling of PPI I believe that the PPI on my CC was miss-sold to me or even worse added without my permission?
I asked them to show me evidence of me agreeing to this PPI, but the evidence never materialised, so that speaks volumes to me as I am sure it does to you
I still have no idea how it ended up on my CC account as LTSB have never told me?

I posted various letters to LTSB from August 2010 till recent times chasing them on how my complaint was going.
I would advise anyone to keep on at their bank or CC company (letter or phone calls) if you don't seem to be getting any correspondence from them, because this will prevent you being kept at the bottom of their very large pile of complaints & being kept in the dark

It took me 6 months to get a result letter from LTSB insurances informing me of the monies being refunded back to me, but as the saying goes' ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT' however I advise any of you not to wait too long otherwise you will end up with no refund

Thankfully my persistents has paid off, because after 5 months from when I first sent my letter back in August I received an Ex-gratia offer letter and on the 6th month then received the calculations letter informing me of the amount being refunded

Martins 'first approach' template letter is what I used to start the ball rolling, so thank you Martin and from then on all the letters I sent to LTSB where in my own words and from the heart, but without offence.

It has taken 6 months to get a final outcome, because LTSB are drowning in a sea of complaints (to their own admittance) and trying to pull themselves a float as quickly as they can, so please bear the timescales in mind if you are going to pursue your PPI as it will not be a quick process, however do keep on at them as it is the only way to resolve your matter & hopefully get you all of your money back with added interest

    GOOD LUCK!!! :A

hi all, just wondered if anyone had had any recent correspondence from RBS? I sent my claim off in October and waited the 8 weeks to then be told everything was on hold because of the Judicial Review. I have held off going to the Ombudsman in a hope that the court case would be settled and my matter would be investigated quicker this way? I'm thinking maybe I should have gone to the Ombudsman? :-)

    Hi Sazzy1972

    CONGRATULATIONS!!

I too am hoping for a redund from Lloyds in relation to an LTSB credit card. Unfortunately I had to take my complaint to the FOS, who recently upheld my complaint. They have wrote to Lloyds asking them to confirm that they accept the result- we await their response!
With regard to the calcuations, how do they work out your refund?
    Once again congratulations!!
