Thanks Di I certainly think this is a long shot but worth a chance!! Yeah I thought the same about the info from Egg. Keep you posted but adjudicator has said it could take a long time!!! x

    Fingers crossed for you.;)

Have you also tried requesting for a copy of the agreement directly from EGG? XX

Hi, I've had 2 email from Lloyds Customer Care in the past week - they don't really say anything, just stalling, but at least they are acknowledging my email commmunication with them.
  • I have been trying to reclaim the PPI that was missold to me by Lloyds TSB. It has taken 13 months, and required involvement from the FOS, but today I received the settlement in my bank account of just under £2,000.

I was missold PPI back in January 2001, I was told I would be refused the loan unless I took out the PPI. I subsequently repaid the loan over 5 years but always felt that I had been treated unfairly. When I discovered the PPI reclaiming guide and template letters on this website I used them to write to Lloyds TSB who of course refused to settle my claim, so I took my case to the FOS who upheld my claim and ordered Lloyds TSB (who took as long as the possibly could!) to repay me the PPI. It has taken a long time but I cannot tell you how happy I am today to finally have my money back with interest.

I have today paid off my credit card and I'm now completely debt free for the first time in ten years. It is a fabulous feeling!

Thankyou Martin Lewis & all at Money Saving Expert and thankyou to everyone on the forums who give advice and keep us all going when it feels like we will never get there. xxxxxx:j

  • Hi there, can any body help with this please?
I had a Natwest & a Mint Credit card and took out the agreements for both in approx 2001.
I wasn't sure of the exact start dates so called Natwest who said as it was on or around 2001 they had no record & I would have to request this in writing so they could 'search their archives' - I also did same for Mint & they said same (they also gave me same address in Southend so I sent one letter for both); they haven't replied & when I called again they said they hadn't received my letter.
Does anyone please have an email address or named contact to submit my reclaim for both Natwest & Mint Credit Cards? (I'm going to guess at start dates as they don't seem to be forthcoming with this info!)
    Many thanks in advance

    Hi there

Your entitled to make a complaint to the FOS now if you want to, but some have backlogs and will request for more time.

You can either wait for another 8 weeks, and I do hope this is the decision your waiting for, but otherwise complain to the FOS which can also take some time for them to investigate.
Hopefully it will be a good result from this, fingers crossed.;)
