  • YEEAAH! Got £580 back from Barclays for a PPI. Put cheque in bank this morning.

Also, came across statements from Barclaycard with PPI on them. Problem is they're dating back to 2001. Any chance of reclaiming this anyone?
    My LBM - December 2010!

    Q.Q: £726; Payday Exp: £650; WDA: £375; L.S: £779; PDP: £649; 24/7 Money: £130
    Provident: £1,700
    Black Horse: £3,471
    TOTAL: £8,480

    Hiya

I would contact them and ask them about this, although I wouldn't want it to jeopodize anything, ring them as a general query on this if you want to.;)

  • I had a Barclaycard Matercard & Baclaycard Visa, both with PPI but with very modest balances - £1,200 each. Sent the FOS PPI Consumer Questionnaire and within 2 weeks got a what I thought was a 'holding' letter saying they couldnt respond just now but were looking into it. Well true to their word within 6 weeks, between the two cards, a total payment of £7,700 and all down to the fact that they could not find any supporting evidence that their standard procedures were followed. Fair play to Barclaycard and no need to go to the FOS.
