Hi di3004 and amersall. Thanks for replying so quickly. I have sent another email to our dear dear CEO Eric Daniels of Lloyds, and maybe just maybe something will come of it. I mentioned about the others persons account number etc in their standard letter to me (my name and address was correct by the way). By the way Di what is the full address of Natalie Ceeney of the FOM? She will certainly get a letter from me. By the way Di, the MOJ acknowledged email but didnt reply in writing yet. Time will tell.

Thank you both for your support. I am worried though about the other person - they must be fretting as much as me. Lets hope though that they dont actually know of this balls up. Colossal balls up. I think that Lloyds doesnt give a toss what people think of them - which as we know is rubbish - but I would dearly love to meet some of these jobsworthies and tell them whats the general feeling is about this godawful bank. I know what you are going to say next - THEY DONT CARE..............!

    Hiya Di

I decided not to email LTSB but wrote them a letter regarding this instead - asking for details of their calculations/method used etc. It went today by recorded delivery - will let you know the outcome as soon as they reply ;)

Well done ally - that is such a good result. I have just had work on the phone to say that they have underpaid me by £170 this month due to someone making a mistake at payroll and I wont get that back until end of year. It just cant get any worse than that. I cant now tax car or pay £170 worth of bills (council tax etc) so I hope against hope that the PPI thing comes in real soon.

    Ever hopeful Mrs s x
Not an expert on this, but you shouldnt have to wait until the end of the year, as di says i would look into this, maybe give acas a ring. They are very good and will tell you your rights.I would have thought that you would get it back on next pay day?.

It sounds like a Tax mistake perhaps??? Perhaps check you tax code on your last months payslip and see if its that?
  • Dear Martin,

I've just received a settlement offer today from EGG for £3,761.91, for mis-sold PPI on a loan I have with them. I am ecstatic!!! I used all the tips on your website and downloaded your form. They did the trick. They paid out after just the first letter, although they haven't admitted liability.

    You are my hero :T

Did they provide proof of these tel calls?

Well done to you and Congratulations!
No. No proof of the calls ever materialised. This was just a tactic they used to put me off!! (funny that eh?).
Destiny struggles to re-assert the pattern that was meant to be.
