Well, its Tuesday morning and no reply from either Mr Daniels - top dog of Lloyds (did I honestly expect a reply from him - well, sort of yes I did actually!!) or Claims Financial. I have bad bad dreams about all this. I wont give up until my instinct/guts tell me otherwise - like the overdraft claim council tax claim and disability claim. The only success I had yesterday was not crashing the car and thats saying something (roundabouts are a bit of a problem!!).

Never mind all that. Do you think that I should send Mr D another email and keep upping the anti or should I maintain a dignified silence and hope (some hope) that he will reply - or at least some minion from some centre somewhere in Chipping Sodbury with a career agenda - what do you think?

I have been signed off two weeks with stress (not a wonder) and so I have plenty of time to sit and fire off emails but I dont want to necessarily antagonise anyone - I just want my money back.. Is that so much to ask....

Hi Mrs S

It can take a few days as he is over-run with them, but what normally happens is, his responses to emails are send to his staff and they then normally write to you or ring you.
Do you also have the direct number for the refunds dept?

Tel 0845 3005599

Fax 01633 468835

customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

Just a suggestion and I know its more running round, unfortunately this have been the case for many of us via Lloyds, but what you could do is email the above dept (they do normally get back by the end of the day), send them a copy of the email you sent Mr D, and hopefully they will be able to track this down and come back with some sort of result to this.

Fingers crossed.;)X

Hey mrs-stressed
Dont give up on Mr D yet. :eek:I sent him an email regarding my refund. I wasn't happy that they wanted me to sign a slip accepting an offer when there was no figures and no interest to be added. Mr D contacted the Insurance Customer Care Dept, they then sent me a letter appologising for all the problems enclosing a breakdown of my refund and the 8% interest had been added. Money to be in the bank in 14 days. :TKeep pushing.:D
• Its now 1 o'clock and I have had an email from Claims Financial. The Adjudicator told Lloyds that the FOS were upholidng my claim for PPI way back earlier in the year. Lloyds didnt respond or acknowledge this. The case has now gone to the Ombudsman (I thought it had already but never mind) and his decision is final and that Lloyds have to abide by his ruling. However CF have iinformed me that the OBM doesnt know when his office can request/demand this claim to be paid out to me and Lloyds could sit on it for as long as they like. So, at least I have some information (I did email back and ask them to letme know what was happening in the future and not have me badger them for any news - in a nice way of course!!). I now have another advisor (No 7 now) who is dealing with my case with Claims Financial. By now, this has been going on for so long that all these advisors are getting younger and younger and I am getting older and older - !!! LOL

I will of course let you know about what happens next. But I dont think it will be today!!! Love Mrs s x

I can understand how frustrating this can be.

• I applied to reclaim my PPI for my loan of £2500 with Alliance & Leicester which I took out for 5 years over 2 yeras ago. I was told when taking out my loan, I didn't have much chance of getting the loan without it, I wasn't even told there was a cancellation window, should I wish to change my mind.

Although the payments were only about £5 of my loan payment each month, I still felt it was unjust that I should have to pay it and they charge interest on it.

So I used one of the template letters and filled out the questionnaire and sent it them. I got a reply a few weeks later to acknowledge they were dealing with the complaint.

Then today I am very happy, they have offered to settle in full what I have paid plus interest which I have accepted straight away. They have also removed it from all future subsequent payments.

Very happy with this, in total I got £150 back! :)

• Hi anyone! I sent an email to Eric Daniels - head honcho of Lloyds and I used di3004s link and now I cant find the email I wrote to him? How do I retrieve it? I cant find it on any of my email accounts (hotmail, gmail and tesco). I need a computer whiz here! I am not really all that computer literate but can sort of find my way round - a bit! So dont use big old words like configuration! I like the old english version of speaking like press button A and then press button B! LOLLLLL

• Ive tried that but nothing is happening! What am I doing wrong here........ x
• Hi di3004 - found it. In the very place I hadnt looked. Thank you for your prompt though. I have reread it and really I should have slept on it before sending! I wish I hadnt have been so prickly. I was polite, firm and courteous but its the words in between like - angry, not personal and patronising that I wish I could withdraw. After all my claim is not personal to him!!!!!!!!!

I will let you know though and thanks for your time and support
