PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

mrs-stressed wrote: »Hi Chris - thanks for cheer-me-up post! I am going through a company called Claims Financial (as I had had such a distastrous time with my overdraft claim I though I would have more clout with a firm that specialised in this sort of thing) and I have had about six different 'advisors' and all are just as bad as the other - in other words not doing much for a great deal of money. I have emailed them again this morning and no reply yet. From what I can gather my claim is now with Lloyds - after OBMs ruling, and probably in someones in-tray as we speak. I am at a total loss as to how I can resolve this. Not only do I need the money BIG TIME but I am sick and tired of being in suspension as it were. Every single claim I have been advised to make from overdraft to council tax reclaim and PPI I have had a complete and absolute nightmare with and not succeeded with any of them. Have I got 'stupid for trying' written all over me....LOL.

Hi again
So you used a claims company then?
Maybe this is partly the reason its taking time, and it must be very frustrating for you - not hearing anything at all here.
You could contact the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) who can check these out for you, tell them your problem and see what they can suggest in your case;

That is the thing with claims companies, lots have had hassle using them but fingers crossed and hope you hear something very soon, please keep us posted, cheers.

Hi di3004. Wheyhey - I am all for going right to the top. I am going to email him right now. I shant of course- because I am a polite and very courteous englishwoman tell him EXACTLY what I think of his crummy and thieving bank. In fact any bank in this country are full of thieves and robbers - thats how they make their billions. I just want my measly and pathetic money back so I can have a meal tonight and feed my car too so I can get to work! Dont ask for much but I would like so much to have this finished with so I concentrate on really important stuff like how on earth am I going to pay my council tax, car tax, dog food, heating bills - I could go on but its soooo boring!
I would laugh at all this but I cant see the wood for the trees right now!!

I have just sent an email to the top of the pile - Mr Daniels. I dont suppose for one minute that I shall hear anything back and I am not holding my breath I can tell you!!!! I have just checked out MOJ website and I feel uncomfortable going down that route just yet. I shall store that as back-up.
I am maintaining a stiff upper lip here - its just my lower lip and chin that gives me away.........LOL!!
I will let you know of Mr D contacts me - but please, if you have booked a holiday and are planning a gap year in the middle east - take it as I dont suppose there will be a result till you come back and then some.....!

mrs-stressed wrote: »Thanks amersall - every message I get really helps! I am dead scared of ringing (cost??) as I know what they will say. When you say well done on your win - what win do you mean????? I havent had a win since - well cant remember. Got time for a list of failures!!!! I cant seem to achieve a good result no matter how hard I try and no matter what I do even if it is the same as everyone else. Must find an emoticon for someone with failure written all over their face. Are there any cartoonists who can do a face with 'stupid' or 'loser' out there..............LOL
Mrs s xjust celebrating in advance for you :rotfl::rotfl:you are not a failure as your claim is with fos, so dont give up just yet

Hey, try not to let it get you down - not easy at times I know but the gang on this site will give you all the support you need to get there in the end. Sometimes I think that these companies don't have a proper system - I'm sure they allow the first dozen claims every day and then knock everyone else back! Just hang in there !0 -
Well, its Tuesday morning and no reply from either Mr Daniels - top dog of Lloyds (did I honestly expect a reply from him - well, sort of yes I did actually!!) or Claims Financial. I have bad bad dreams about all this. I wont give up until my instinct/guts tell me otherwise - like the overdraft claim council tax claim and disability claim. The only success I had yesterday was not crashing the car and thats saying something (roundabouts are a bit of a problem!!).
Never mind all that. Do you think that I should send Mr D another email and keep upping the anti or should I maintain a dignified silence and hope (some hope) that he will reply - or at least some minion from some centre somewhere in Chipping Sodbury with a career agenda - what do you think?
I have been signed off two weeks with stress (not a wonder) and so I have plenty of time to sit and fire off emails but I dont want to necessarily antagonise anyone - I just want my money back.. Is that so much to ask....
