Hi Di,
Thanks for this.
It's Loans.co.uk and firstplus.
ClareHi
Well done to you.
What are the name of the companies, we can try checking the contact details for you.
I know all companies vary with their timescales on paying out, but if 5 weeks have passed, I would chase them up and ask them when you should be receiving your refund, good luck.0 -

Hi Clare and your welcome.;)
I would contact the FOS for loans.co.uk phone details I understand they hold them.

And I came across First plus details here, so hope they are of some help for you.

sent off the reclaim letter back in july to Capital one,to be honest i had forgot all about it but yesterday had a letter off them offering a refund of the full amount.

Hi All,
Thanks to Martin and his team i have successfully reclaimed £1800, from Northern Rock, £324 from Santander (was Comet store card) and £1450 from MBNA creditcards. I could not believe it was so simple to get to this stage so quickly.
Just a quick question? Each of the companies have said that they do not believe i was mis sold the PPI but still paid out. I have another MBNA credit card (Virgin) and they have written to me and said they are not prepared to pay out. The question is should i still challenge it? They have sent an Ombusman leaflet through with their reply. Just looking for some advice please?
Thanks again

Brilliant, well done on your successes here.:T:beer::j
As amersall says, keep it going on the other, if that was the final decision, and they confirmed that and you received the leaflet of the FOS, then move on to the FOS.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks for the advice, i will send it through to the FOS. Is there a template letter for the FOS?
On another subject, I had a loan with the Nationwide in 2002 and paid PPI on that, is it too far in the past to claim???
Thanks again

Hi...
Sorry to jump in with this question, as I am sure it has been covered before...
I am better off filling out the Questionairre on MSE and doing this myself than going through someone like Gladstone Brookes who I have recently contacted in regards to getting back my PPI?
My main concern is that HSBC would be more inclined to pay out to a company rather than an individual?
My reason for feeling I was missold PPI is that:
1. I was unemployed at the time of taking out the Loan with PPI
2. I was told I had to take it out to get the Loan
On the above points would be worth carrying this out myself....Gladstone Brookes seemed to think I had a good case??
Thanks in advance for your help with this0
