claiming back . On a loan (a large one £84 k)
company first plus
refund £20,571.60 full refund of insurance premium+ interest on premium to date £10,355.91 this has come of the balance wiping out any arrears+ cheque for £962.59
i got this after my second letter.
After seeing all the story's about misselling i started to look and used martins templates adjusting them to why i felt it was missold to me and wow did it work
my monthly payment was £1031 p.c.m + £100 arrears,we were days away from having the house repossed and now no arrears and a new monthly payment of£768 p.c.m
working it out after taking future payments savings into account i think in all it has cost them close to £100k to settle
i hope that anyone with any doubts will look at this and and hopefully renew your hope ... This cost me 2x recorded delivery.
Hope ive put this in the correct section
Well done to you :T:beer::j and the very best of luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

So far Egg£2500, Coop £3300 and £1200, Barclaycard £1800 - thanks to all at MSE and the "Templates!!:j
Failures -rejection from Citibank and Aqua ( actually Halifax ) on the grounds that I ticked a box - is there any comeback? Is it worth trying the FOS on these two?
My real problem is a car loan with Welcome Finance, which was arranged by ACF a car sales franchise ( I argued that the car sales person had no financial beckground / told it was compulsory )- been through rejection, went to FOS, who have just replied that at the time of sale(2002) neither were regulated by the FSA - however, the loan was not paid off until October 2006, so wondering if I should ask FOS for an investigation?:(0 -
has anyone had any dealings with Nemo finance ? we took out various loans secured on our property & still have one running at present for £48,000  yes wow!!!
This has PPI on it totalling the loan upto approx £64,000 , the cover is only for 5 years but the loan is for 25 years !!
We are going through a company called EMC to try and reclaim our PPI .
Could anyone say whether they have been successful against Nemo or with EMC ...
Thanks0 -

Hi there
And yes, we were successful with a ppi reclaim against Nemo and was awarded almost £13K back in ppi, this was back in 2007.
We did have 2 loans with them, the first one was arranged through a broker, so this was pursued through the actual broker and the loan advance Nemo, so it was Nemo with this one, however when I say successful - it went as far as the FOS, when we settled that loan off, we settled at paying off almost £67K with ppi, this was why we were awarded almost £13K.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
