  • Hi
I did a PPI reclaim and have had a letter today from Lloyds TSB saying they will now pay me £1427.10.
This was on a £5000 loan and I paid the loan off after 15 months.

One thing they haven't said is if they will pay me anything for inconvenience, do I need to ask them about this??.

My fingers and toes have worked very hard indeed :D, the toes typed that little quicker than the fingers though, so they deserve the credit, not me :D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, but thank you how very nice of you.:A. LOL

Hi there well done on your success.:T:beer::j

If the complaint is resolved directly with the bank then I don't think the extra redress for distress of inconvenience is included, to what I am aware of this is only generally awarded if we have to go as far as the FOS which caused the inconvenience if you know what I mean.:D

  • Hi everyone,
I am STILL waiting for my money off Lloyds TSB it is now 2 weeks over the initial 21 days in which they said they would pay out! I have e-mailed them and they told me to call the loan centre - each time I call the centre they tell me that there is a backlog and they don't know how long it will take before my calculations are done Grrrrrrrrr!! This is soooo frustrating, is anyone else in the same position? how long have you been waiting for yours?
    I'm so impatient!
    Alyson xx
Feeling like we were sucked in by the hard sell & lack of info / advice!
Well done to everyone who's won their claims & good luck to those ongoging!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
  • OOOOH I've just noticed you are claiming against Lloyds TSB! So am I - do u mind if I ask how long it has taken to get your payment figure? I received a letter saying I would receive my money within 21 days but we r now 2 weeks past the 21 day period and we've had nothing. When I called them they said they were running behind but couldn't tell me how far behind they were!!!!!

Have you experienced this? They said they haven't even done the calculations for ours yet!

Thanks & Well done to you!

  • Hi everyone,

It was only a couple of days ago I was moaning about Barclays. Taking Di's advice I emailed CEO yesterday. All credit to them now. CEO assistant tried to ring me today (unfortunately I was out) BUT in the post was a letter accepting my complaint offering £971.33!! Fantastic! More than I was expecting and I will never have a bad word for Barclays again!

Thank you yet again for all the help and support I have received on this site.

    Hi

    Congratulations on winning against Barclaycard:D

Did you complain about a CC or loan as I am looking in to claiming back PPI on my CC & also have you got the email address

    Many Thanks

    Hi Alyson

    Well done on your success.

Lloyds are always the same, they give a timescale and rarely keep to it, but have you also emailed
The Chief Executive officer (CEO), maybe worth you emailing him if you've not heard anything by the end of this week.

    Good luck X

    Thanks for your reply!
If i've not heard anything by the end of the week I will try that email address - I really just want to know how far behind they are running!

    Thanks again xx
