    Hi again,
    More good news to report.
Today Firstplus have agreed to refung my whole PPI premium, pay me interest and recalculate my loan.
£7K off my loan, £1200 to me.

Last week they sent me the standard rejection letter. I sent them back a second letter as per advice from this site and this forum. Their offer to grant a full refund comes only 4 days after I sent them my second letter.
Whatever I said must've scared them, lol :)
Thanks again everyone for all your help and advice. I'm chuffed to bits with this result!

Lloyds Complaints team in Brighton live in a large cave where no one can contact them. Only the FOS have access numbers to them and they are regarded as top secret.
I did write to Natalie Ceeney CBE the chief ombudsman, as I had been waiting for 2 and a half years, and within a week my case was seen by an Ombudsman!
Same with me when Lloyds ignored the adjudicator decision, which is usual for them.
Since my win I have spoken to Lloyds credit card and they keep me updated as to what is going on, 0845 606 2175.
I would write to Ms Ceeney first, being very polite but very concerned. I asked her to confirm receipt of my letter by email and she did, and she wrote to me within a day.
    Good luck.
  • Lloyds have just upheld my next complaint re LPI on a loan. I reckon, with the loan I mentioned yesterday, and this one, I'll be due back about £5k. Once again, thanks to all for support and advice.
