i sent lloyds the fos complaint form last week about missold ppi on a loan ...

i recieved a letter on monday to say they recieved my letter and were looking into the complaint and had 8 weeks to investigate...

i recieved a letter today to say they would uphold my complaint and refund ppi premiums paid and 8% interest :T:T:T

this must be some sort of a record knowing what lloyds are like...

mind you they have not said how much or how long it will be before i get paid...
thanks to all who have helped:beer::beer::beer:
:shhh::shhh: Dont let anyone know this :D:D especially bugsy ;)
seriously though, this must be a record for lloyds :eek:
:j:jCongrats on your win and well done
  • Hey all,
Just wanted to report my first sucess. (Hopefully the first of many!! ;) )
Got a letter from Barclaycard today agreeing to refund our PPI premiums plus interest. The total is £1014! Hurrah!
I DO have a question for some of the knowledgeable people out there, though.

They say that the money will be paid off the credit card balance. DO we have to accept this? We're not behind with our payments and we're within our card limit.
Surely we can demand that the money comes to us??

Thanks guys for any advice you can give. And HUGE thanks to Martin Lewis and everyone on this forum who has helped me get this refund.
My advice to anyone dithering about whether to complain about PPIs- just do it!!
    Cheers,
    Clare

  • Hi there, just a few words of thanks for your help in reclaiming my ppi payments.

I had three personal loans from Alliance & Leicester dating back to 2002 (all with ppi included).

I printed off three of the standard claim forms from the site and filled them in as advised. Two weeks later had 3 x replies, all favourable and have now received cheques totalling over £7000! The rates of interest given were excellent .

It really was that easy and if I can do it anyone can.

Thanks again for your help, Martin.

  • Rounds one and two to the good guys...

Just heard from Lloyds that they are refunding £1547.99 on credit card PPI and have upheld Loan LPI on first (of two claims). Thank you all so much for support and help.
