  • I read the articles on this website about PPI and was a intrigue, however I was in two minds whether to contact Egg regarding my loan and credit card that I had with them regarding PPI, as nothing good usually happens to me.

I decide to take the bull by the horns and give it a go. I am completely overwhelmed that I have been successful and have been offered £6000 back, it was extremely simple and stress free. I simply emailed them and have recieved a letter regarding my credit card account and loan account with an offer.

I urge everyone who has had PPI with egg to give it a go, you may be pleasantly surprised, just like me!

Thank you so Martin and your crew, I never thought that anythink like this would happen to me and i'm so grateful, this refund will help to clear some debts and make our lives a little easier.

  • Hi there

I want to say a huge thank you to this website and to my mate Richard for putting me in touch with you.

Egg Loan taken out 2005 PPI £2866 Refund: £3978.59
HFC Loan taken out 2003 PPI £4921 Refund: £6820.49
Halifax Loan taken out 2005 (and still running) PPI £4257 Refund £4531.91

    Total refund £15.330.99

Egg - I used the MSE template and they contacted me within 2 weeks to say was being upheld
Halifax - again I used the MSE template and they settled after 4 weeks
HFC - responded to my template with a questionnaire/request for further information in which I just repeated what I had already stated in the template. They then came back asking for 4 more weeks to complete their investigations after which they have made an offer without any admission of guilt or prejudice

It has only taken 2 months since my first letter and to these 3 companies paying up.

So for the cost of some stamps, some time to fill in the templates I am now £15k to the better.

I honestly thought my mate was talking rubbish and that I had no chance of getting anything back...but look at me now....:D:D:D

Thank you and to anyone just thinking about making a claim...go for it!

I think it is just so brilliant that people are getting back what they should not have had to fork out in the first place, which is many instances was because we believed them, that it was going to benefit us! The terrible situations it has caused for so very many just shows what rogues financial institutions can be. They dont mind paying themselves enormous bonuses but I really do despair about the situation for 'ordinary' people like us.

Sorry this has nothing to do with the thread Im just having a bad time with the bank and am so pleased for those who are getting justice. :)
