Well its a month since I used my card and still no transactions on my credit card.

I know they suggested allowing 14 days, but is there a time limit when they can still charge my card i.e. have they lost the right to charge me after a period of time?

    6 months I believe

When I applied for this I kept getting an error in the app and eventually got an email saying it had been massively oversubscribed and since they were allocating in a first cone first served basis unfortunately I had not been successful. Pushed it to the back of my mind and forgot about it. Lo and Behold a card arrived in the post today. All on its own. No communication with it, just the card. Was surprised to say the least. After reading the mixed reviews I'm not sure whether to use it for my upcoming trip to Spain. Maybe just for cash withdrawals.

Eventually got an answer, withdrawing euros in the UK won't incur a fee on the card

Are you sure glentoran99? This article suggests that those Euro dispensing ATMs might apply their own exchange rate and charge your card in ££.

This link shows today's exchange rate applied by Raphael's bank who own these machines. Today's Euro rate is only 1.2426 compared to the daily visa rate of 1.4070. Quite a difference.

  • I hope nobody has the misfortune to need to phone their customer services to report fraud! What a disaster!
Phoned on Monday to report over $4000 worth of fraud in Orlando, card cloned by the looks of it. Indian call centre - "someone will phone you within 48hrs" shock horror nobody did - phoned again today - your case has been passed to our Head Office and i'll arrange for someone to phone you - usual story, nobody phoned back, supervisor not available, dreadful.
Got an email from them with attachments to print out and scan and email back, done and emailed, email bounced back to say attachment too big for message! Kill me now!!!
So 3 days later still no further on - absolutely dreadful Fraud procedures - could anyone let me know is it the Financial Ombudsman Service that governs this company?

Can you not contact your linked card and tell them that you do not recognise the transactions?

What did you expect from a company operating at a loss? It was clear from the start that they bit off more than they could chew.

Yes Tesco Credit card have already declined it as a fraud claim as the transactions were done on a 3rd party card - I can try and dispute it if Travelex don't refund it...

Travelex or sorry Tuxedo Money Solutions?! emailed forms yesterday to be hand written and scanned and emailed back - so antiquated for a company whose card can only be serviced through an app!

Still no word back from them.

I expected a lot more considering it was so highly endorsed and advertised by Martin Lewis?

Yes the ATM may charge a fee, but basically its the same as using an ATM abroad, no fee will be levied by supercard

Not much good to you know but something everyone could learn from, switch it off unless you are using it, no chance of fraud then
