Yes I phoned customer services at Voda and got the name and number of the person who spoke to me. The call was recorded and she even checked with her senior. They said you can definately port in your PAYG sim after connection

I hope this does not invalidate cashback claim through M2YD....

Hi, I asked M2YD if porting no after connection would affect cashback, here is my email and their reply:

    Hi,
I am looking to take out the following contract:
    http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/Contract_Offer_Details.asp?ItemKey=187744&MPItemKey=191706http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/Contract_Offer_Details.asp?ItemKey=187744&MPItemKey=191706
From your site it says i cannot port my current number in advance (ie:through you). I have made enquiries with Vodafone who have said that i would be able to give them the PAC after connection and port my number.
Could you please confirm whether me porting my number would affect my cashback entitlement.
    Kind regards

    Hi ................,

Thank you for your recent e-mail, I can confirm that porting your number will not affect your chequeback.

Now all i need is confirmation in writing from Vodafone that i can port my no after connection! Tried to contact them via their contact form but keeps crashing!
  • Yes I Have got them (M2YD) to put it in writing which they have agreed so I await my hard copy letter. As i said before VODA said you can NOT port after connection. BUT you can port to a PAYG and start a contract throuth M2YD with VODA then switch your PAYG No with your contract No. I Know it sounds a bit unbeleivable, but that is what they have said!

I'm hoping they change (for the better) at the beginning of next month, I'm planning on getting a couple of new contracts from them soon

    I have a M2YD contract with chequeback.

I am about to make my 1st claim, do I have to send my original bill or will a printout from my Vodafone online account suffice.

For some reason I am not getting Vodafone bills through the post, which I chased up and got nowhere with!
I was told by Vodafone CS that you can't have an online account and paper bills. Its abit of a pain as I need paper bills but would also like to do other things online.
