Printout should be fine. I would add that you were very foolish to wait so long to ask this question. You've had 6 MONTHS to sort out a paper bill. Even though Vodafone is a complete pain to deal with that was extremely unwise.0

I agree, he's constantly pointing out that peolple are taking out deals without fully knowing how to abide by the T&C's.
And despite all the help on these forums people are still getting in a mess. Get the advice and be clear what's needed BEFORE taking out a contract, don't go in blind, or you might just get your fingers burnt!!!!!!!!!!!
How many would have lost out without the help of MJ and Quentin etc.????

Hi
I am about to order through these guys again, but I have a current contract with O2. I am going to give my 1 months notice on 7th OCT as 12 months is up on 7th NOV, and i will ask for the PAC. It was a 12 month free deal from E2save on O2
Just a few questions if you would be so kind:
I am looking at a 11month free deal from MTYD on VODA
1. Can i port my 02 number to vodafone?
2. Do specify the PAC when i order Voda from MTYD
3. Can I Just get the PAC and organise it when the new Voda contract is up and running.
Many thanks:j  :j0 -
No, you cannot port your number from any network to Vodafone via M2YD.
And as an aside, from experience, Vodafone only allow you to port in a number if you select that option during signup. They do not allow porting after a Vodafone number has been assigned.0 -
I have just taken out a contract with Vodafone via Mobiles2YourDoor, when I was looking at deals I was told by OneCompare that I would be able to port to Vodafone on this deal with mobiles2your door. It now appears that this is not the case, I have cancelled the deal and I am sending the phone back. I have to give Orange 30 days notice if I am not taking the number with me. Very confusing. I spoke to Vodafone and they said they do port numbers over to them, but only on the point of connection. M2YD said they do not port to VOdafone because they are offering such good deals!!!!
I didn't have this problem last year when I ported to Orange from 3. It all went very smoothly.
Not sure what I am going to do now. What happens after 30 days of having a pac code from Orange? Do I get cut off? Or will I lose my number?

I've just taken out a Vodafone sim only plan which Vodafone billing have combined with my existing M2YD Vodafone contract onto one bill. Will this be a problem when it comes to claiming back my cashbacks or are they wise enough to know which number the claim relates to?0

No. But you can get Vodafone to separate the bills - if you have the patience with them.0

Apparently you can port to a VoDA PAYG sim and then swap your number over after connection to your pay monthly via M2YD.
M2YD said you can port after connection so i just need to get that in writing.
Oh wise ones:
Do you know anyone thats done this with M2YD? is it ok for the cash back?

Hi,
Are you sure that number can be ported to Voda PayG and then swapped to contract? I can't find any information on their website....0
