Really difficult to get speak customer service adviser. Waited about 8miutes to speak to the Phones4u switchboard who transferred me to them and due to the high call volume I was cut off after waiting over 10minutes.

Contacted them by email customer.services@mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk, no reply and it been over one week.

What I wanted to know, Is it possible to purchase a mobile phone on an orange 12th month chequeback deal and then after two months into my contract port my three mobile number to the orange network. This is because I am currently on a contract.

Can anyone help me with this?

Many thanks,

What absolutely rubbish service this company offers. You would think that they do not want any customers.

Ordered the LG Prada from mobiles2yourdoor and at the same time I ordered a phone from phones4u. The phones4u conditions state only 2 phones allowed to be purchased within a 30 day period.

The phones4u phone came yesterday. Just chased the LG Prada phone and told that the order has been cancelled because I ordered 2 phones. I told them that I am allowed to order 2 phones - the terms state this. Now this is the best bit - customer services told me that because both phones are "high value" phones, I am only allowed to order one! Order cancelled and no phone call or email to advise me of this.

You couldn't make this up...........

Anyone thinking this company is "safe" or reliable just because they are part of Phones4u are blinded by the offers. If they don't answer fair questions in writing beforehand what do you expect? If I ever order from them it will be in the full knowledge that legal action may be required and I would act and cover myself accordingly.
• i sent these guys a letter about my address and the apauling service, and just got a call from head office from a nice bloke.

he apologised as they were having a few teething problems and the person i spoke to hadnt completed his full training, but they have now changed my address and are going to despatch my Wii as soon as they can to my new address.

so i'm happy now!

Still no reply by email.
• Doubt you'll ever get one. I tried getting some response from Phones4U months ago and in the end gave up - it is quite clear they will never answer questions or clarify their t&c. Their shops generally have a terrible reputation as far as i can see and having tried VERY hard to GET a response I concluded their internet dealings are just as dubious. I would have definitely gone with at least one deal with them if it weren't for my almost total lack of confidence in a reasonable cashback experience.

Oh dear. Looks like I'm in trouble on a couple of things then. Got the LG Prada on clearance (sneakily it didn't say clearance on the front page and I didn't realise that's what it was, or what it meant, until I got the confirmation email). It's with Vodafone "Anytime 40" which is meant to have 500 mins + 500 texts for £40/month.

Now, I haven't got my redemption certificate yet and the really interesting bit is that I've just got my Vodafone welcome pack which says I'm on "Anytime 500", which has only 250 texts and is £39.99 a month.

So I've sent an email to ask (a) why I'm not on the deal I signed up to, and importantly (b) if this is going to affect the cashback since that clearly states you must be on an equal or higher value priceplan to that taken out! Of course, I'm currently 1p under!!!

No response to the email sent yesterday either but after e2save fiascos I've got all my printouts!

Hmm,

I was literally about to place my order for a new Samsung U600 but after reading the updates on my original post I'm having serious second thoughts.

The odd thing I must admit is I have had email correspondence with them twice and both times they have replied promptly.

But seeing how so many people who have actually placed orders seem to be having issues I'm not sure what to do now.

Has anyone placed and order yet that actually went smoothly?

I received my phone from them today after ordering Sunday.

The customer information form has me down as being on the right contract and the phone and accessories are included.

But its lacking a sim card, which isnt helpful. Does anybody know if they send them out separately?

Thanks

UPDATE: I gave them a call. Got through straight away. There was meant to be one in the box so theyll have one sent out for me and I should get it in 1-3 days. :)
