p.s have noticed that their parent company (phones4u) have the same term included in their cashback t+c's. In fact they are exactly the same t+c's. Which is kind of reassuring I guess, seeing as phones4u are usually reliable cashback-wise.

That sounds pretty basic to me but it doesn't really mean much. I doubt if any judge would let them hide behind those words if they did not have just cause to refuse the claim.

In my opinion this company won't be trading in 12 months time. Their offers are now too good to be true. You can get a Prada LG phone on a 12 month contract for nothing. And the Ts&Cs for the cash-back offer are really easy to meet.

    £480 - 6/8/10/12
Send your 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th monthly bills within 60 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with £120 (month 6), £120 (month 8), £120 (month 10) and £120 (month 12)
This will save you £480 over the 12 month duration of the contract.

Please note: the above calculations are based on the basic line rental of the tariff and do not include itemised billing.

    That's all!

This phone cost over £300 SIM free and the cash-back Ts&Cs are very easy to meet.
I think they are just getting as many customers as they can to get the kick-backs from the phone companies and when it come to paying up they will disapear into thin air.

    Caparn,

The phone you mention is a 'clearance' phone, and not sim free, so you are not comparing like for like.

I hope you have something to back up your claims that they won't be trading in 12 months, as there are companies that have been offering better deals that are still around after 12 months.

I notice their web site says

We're 'powered by 4u Group'..... whatever that means?

It means that they are a subsiduary of phones4u, so shouldn't be going anywhere unless something drastic happens to p4u

These deals are nothing new. They've been around for years now, although the great offers do vary from one company to the next each year.

The reality is people mess up claims and this is what these companies hope for. I'd love to see some insider figures on just how many people take these deals vs. how many either don't claim at all or mess the claim up. It wouldn't surprise me at all if that number was very high.

Anyway, I'll be ordering from mobiles2yourdoor in a couple of weeks when my exisiting contract runs out.

No, I've got nothing to back up my claim, I'm just guessing. Normally these phones are not available on any deal like that and the Ts&Cs are more confusing and harder to meet with shorter claim deadlines. I can't think enough people would mess up that offer for mobiles2yourdoor to make any money from it.

Maybe I should have posted it in the grab it quick forum instead but, it's a new company so the risk is higher and I can't see their business model will work with offers that are so easy to meet.

I don't think that actually means anything. Do you think if they lose money and go bust that 4u group would bail them out?

The LG phone you mention is neither "New" nor sim free, so the value of it is nowhere close to what it could be.

I believe that the best time to go with a company is when they 1st start up because you will be among the 1st to be paid out when it comes time to pay cashback.

I also believe that they would be supported by the phones4U group to avoid them getting into trouble in the first place.

We all have our opinions, and only time will tell.
Given the choice I would rather be with mobiles2yourdoor than the company I am currently with.
