    Not impressed so far.

Orer a phone on Saturday...website says it'll get here by tuesday 1pm. Contacted tues 3pm as it hadn't arrived...apparently they didn't have it in stock, but that it would be with me shortly. They should have been getting stock that day.

It's now after 1pm on wednesday and it's still not here.

I know in the big scheme of things it isn't much, but when a company says they'll try and get something to you on Tuesday then it should be with you on tuesday.

Anyone else had this at the start and went on to no further problems? Please?!

Did you order the new Nokia 3900 I think it is? Thats out of stock at the moment. The phone I ordered from them recently came in 2 working days. I'd check by calling them with your applic ref number to see what stage the dispatch is at.

I'm sending mine back incendentally. Not because of any problem with M2YD but because One Stop Phone Shop retention dept gave me a better sim only sweet deal. Have you checked with your current provider?

If you followed the instructions on the claim form, sit back and relax. In a few weeks (sometimes within 7 days) they will send you a cheque.

or they might drag their heels and refer you to their premium number like they keep doing to me. 1st form very late. 2nd form over a month and a half later it still hasn't been sent. The reply to any enquiry is a copied-and-pasted reply telling you to wait and the form will come later and to call the premium number for any enquires despite the site giving the email address as the primary means of communication. Don't think this company's trouble free because they're most definatly not. Their 'automated' process doesn't work and if you don't make it clear in your email that you're not prepared to be fobbed you won't get a proper response. Maybe in the past they've been problem free but not any more. The phones arrive quickly but after that you'll be left wondering where the promised form is. Don't be reassured by the empty promises the'll make if the form doesn't arrive. Great company unless there's a problem then they don't want to know.

I ordered a G600 a few weeks ago and the cashback form arrived a week later. So no problems with my purchase.

Last year when I got a LG Prada from them there were delays in sending out cashback forms but it arrived a few weeks before the first cashback date which was in line with what they were telling everyone at the time.

The dispatch dept kept fobbing me off, telling me it would be with me "soon". It arrived today-only for me to find I still can't use it for 48 hrs while I wait for them to connect it. My direct debit started 2 days ago though...

This is my first ever contract, so current provider can't really do a better deal;)

good for those that the system works correctly for but not for the ones for whom it doesn't.

i just got a reply by going directly to the top. my recorded delivery form didn't arrive:confused: (yeah right). the chequeback contract was therefore cancelled (no indication of this through email up till now). but as a gesture of goodwill (ie. to save court costs) they're paying me the £480 as a complete payment. :T. so kudos to Matthew Maple of phones4u for sorting it but huge jeers's to mobiles2yourdoor for not. for anyone in this situation cc a copy of your email to the head honcho and then you'll get somewhere! email or call the frontline staff and get fobbed off. cashback claims aren't worth the risk; if they lose your form you don't get squat unless you know how to escalate it. it was only a couple of days ago that the email from mobiles2your door said to call the number with no indication they hadn't received the form. yet one cc'ed email to the boss and he called me the next day and had sorted it.

There's one thing you're right about; you shouldn't be doing ANY cashback deals, since you have a huge margin of error on this one and yet didn't follow the basic groundrules. People who do should be able to extract all their cashback with little risk - though naturally most DON'T follow them!

i know damn well what i was doing and did follow the groundrules. don't see my low post count as an indication that i'm a moron. i usually post on another forum but saw this thread (via checking into how reliable mobiles2yourdoor have become since i signed up with them to see if the delay was common now) so posted to warn people. you might not have had a problem with this company but i did so i feel people should not assume they always pays out with no problems.

i followed the conditions and rules to the letter. the first form should have arrived within 30 days of the redemption date. over 30 days passed and no form arrived and the email reply i got was a form reply saying please wait and it'll come later. it didn't until i sent a stronger worded one. then they did send the form and i filled it in exactly as i should. i sent the right bills and sent it by recorded delivery (i have proof it was received). before even going for the deal i did days of research in the deals and the companies that run them. i then went for the one with the highest likelihood of paying out.

so if you're so clever what groundrules didn't i follow? i did my research and followed all the terms and conditions to the letter. you don't know me so don't presume i'm an idiot.

Just received a M2YD Samsung clearance phone on an amazing deal - 15 months free, 200 mins and 1000 texts per month on Vodafone and £55 tracking on Quidco.

This is my second phone deal, previous one was OSPS which worked great. Just so that I'm totally clear about M2YD, could anyone help with a few questions please:

    1. Do I have to complete and return the "Insurance Registration and Service Agreement Form" to meet the terms of the cashback offer, or is this totally optional? If I don't return it, will I lose anything (apart from 3 months "free" insurance)?

    2. Can I transfer my old number from T-Mobile?

    3. Finally, I didn't receive a confirmation email of my order - luckily I printed it from the web page. Is this anything to worry about?

    thanks!

    TT

make sure you have a copy of:
    • current terms and conditions from the website showing exactly what you need to do to claim. make sure you know when you should get the form so you can follow it up if you don't get it.
    • your order confirmation showing the date you were connected
keep these in a very safe place so if things go wrong you'll have proof that you're due a form. the terms that applied when you made the order can change by the time you have to claim so you need to make sure you're not caught out.

for the insurance form i didn't go for the 3 months free and didn't agree to it when i was called by the insurance company either despite their pressuring. insurance is seperate to the phone so it doesn't matter either way. its the price plan that's important and the phone model. don't decrease the package or ask the network to replace it with a different phone model.

to my knowledge you can't transfer your number at all between networks.

as for the confirmation email as long as you have proof of the connection date and order number then you got proof.

good luck with getting cashback. i mean that genuinly, i've had problems with them but hopefully you won't. make sure you have those terms and conditions safe though so if it does go wrong then at least if you've followed the terms then you've got some comeback.
