  • I've just called Vodafone to confirm I'm on the correct tariff. The person in customer services said my billing date would be the 19th, this was the day I placed my order. My first bill should be on it's way, I'll add to the post once it has arrived.

  • I doubt it is. They've given me wrong information about billing before; I never get a bill the same month I purchase and I'm certain they won't send one from day one, so I think you're first bill will be next month. However, the first bill itself isn't of interest - it's where Mobiles2YourDoor came up with 16th from that is.
  • We'll have to wait and see. Do Phones4U still provide the bills through their own billing system? Think it was Centrepoint a few years ago when I worked at Carphone Warehouse?
  • no phone number on their website. a definate no for me if they can't even afford their own 12 months free deals!!.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

their connection with phones4u is a bit suspicious :money:
  • There's nothing suspicious about it, you only have to look on Quidco to see the link with Phones4U, also the customer service number is: 0870 901 4711 or 01782 677 600 and ask to be transferred through. Carphone Warehouse and E2Save are part of the same group just like Phones4U and M2YD. Like all cash back deals the company relies on a number of people not claiming.

  • Hi guys. I've been having all sorts of trouble with Mobile Rainbow over the last few months, i just filed a case against them online today. they owe me about £350  ! Anyway, my contract is coming up for renewal and i've come accross these 2 offers. You reckon i can trust eithe of them? How come m2yd are doing it cheaper than p4u?

From comments about P4U across the web there is plenty of evidence that they don't just rely on people not claiming. It seems they are like all the rest, and folk end up having to send Letters Before Action threatening to sue despite making proper claims.

There is a thread here with MSE members problems as well:

    Hi All

I am planning to buy a 12 month free line rental deal (through cashback) from M2YD (mobiles to your door).
They claim to be from same group as Phones4u.

Has any memeber tried them yet and got any feedback? Their cashback window for claims is 60 days compared to 21 days for The Mobile Outlet.

Also they have 4 * 25% payments for claiming cashbacks...

Please guide with the risk factor while going in for this company. I've used the mobile outlet in the past and never had any issues...

    Thanks..
