000200D6.gif everyone, think its still morning anyway.

Well done to zulubabe,Katiepc and Notanothergreyhair on losing this week.

Well, Ajax, I'm dying to know how your night on the beer went? 00020074.gif I hope it was worth it.

I went off the rails a bit last night (had a burger! and chips:eek: as well as a slice of cake at my brother's   house and a bar of the gorgeous Cadbury chocolate from across the border (Big brother recently took advantage of the cheaper house prices in Buncrana and bough a house there - no rates/ council or water tax to pay either!). I was fairly good in that I ony had one slice of cake and a "normal" sized bar of chocolate - It could have been much worse - I opted to drive home and let OH have a few beers. I've got my family round for dinner tomorrow afternoon and I'm worried that I'm going to have to pull back a bit so I think I might take the car on our night out tonight and drive (hate queuing and paying for taxis anyway)

gotta go - ds wants me to come and play!
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Talking of scales.. I got weighed on my local Cam diet ladies scales and I was the same weight as on mine so I am going to stick to getting weighed once a week at home. She did try to sell me her diet plan and foods but I declined graciously. DD and I are still using our new, smaller plates and I think they will make a difference. Tonight we are having home made burgers and salad from the garden and potato wedges.
Well done notanother grey hair zulubabe,Katiepc and victory on losing

Hi there well done all that lost this week, my first weigh in Monday

  • Ok, i am very new to this whole site and stumbled across this amazing thread...

i have to say you all have me not only extreemly motivated but in stitches with your replys

just a little run-down of why i think i would like to join this thread if thats ok :o

i have a daughter of 6 and a son of 9 months - two days after my baby was born i was 2 stone lighter than i have been for years and stayed like that for about a month to 6 weeks... then the sleepless nights kicked in and i set into the junk bin in the fridge lol... i am now 3 stone more than after he was born and over what i should be for my size, how depressing eah :C also i haven't gone back to work yet so have absolutely no motivation whatsoever and seem to spend my days just milling around not achieving anything.

well i am hoping today (or tonight) will be the day to change all this, thanks to you guys i now feel emotionally ready to do this and get my life back on track - plus my very loving mum paid for us 4 to go to her villa in cyprus for a week on the 1st of oct and i want to feel amazing in my bikini not like a heffalump :)

thanks so far for all the tips - i love the slow cooker idea as by the end of the day i seem to be totally exhausted even though i haven't actually done anything and just slob out on the sofa so as i get my energy in the morning this would be fab for us - then my poor husband wouldn't have to come home from a long day and cook for us :o

so i think i will start my research tomo and work out which diet i am going to start on and go for it... omg i feel excited for the first time in a long time

    thanks
