Hi P-B, welcome on board.
Well done Aussiebird - 2LB ain't a little! If you managed to lose that every year, you would lose about 7 stone in a year!
Just a thought about the £ for lb jar - £5 per week from now till xmas should be quite close to £100 - could then be used to buy new clothes to fit the slimmer me in the Jan sales!0 -

Morning all :hello:
Where did the weekend go - a very good question Petrichor, I don't feel like I've had one! Still, the good news is that we got loads done, which means we should have the Bank Holiday weekend free to do other things (we're sorting out DH's late Uncle's belongings). Luckily we've had loads of help, which was very welcome, considering the number of bin bags that have been despatched to various charity shops and to the tip.
OMG you mentioned the C word and it's still August  !!
Katyk - welcome back- yes, I'm still around and battling with my eternal problem. Someone asked me yesterday if I'm 'still on a diet', to which I replied I'm always on a diet, and that is how it feels, although I try to convince myself that it's healthy eating. Truth is, if I didn't stick to a healthy eating programme of some kind, I'd probably be the size of a house.
JHKE - sorry to hear you've maintained again. I know we're always saying it's better to maintain than to gain, but it's disheartening when you feel like you're stuck at the same weight. Have you tried making some changes? The body is a strange thing, something that works for a while suddenly doesn't work anymore, so you have to sneak up on it and do something unexpected sometimes!
Welcome pineapple_beach - good luck with Slimming World - there are a few of us who have done it, including me, so please ask any questions and we'll do our best to help.
Catch you later, better get to work now!

Well after a fairly stressful week last week and a weekend of too much food and cider I got on the scales this morning and .......................... stayed the same :rotfl:
This is probably a good thing as normally stress makes me stop eating and I put weight on (never have been sure how that one happens mind! I reckon it is the blasted steroids!!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
