    Hi Folks.....

just letting you know how the weigh in went........ (first week at WW proper) and 2 &1/2 lbs off!:j Yay ! This means I've made my first monthly challenge with a week (?) to spare!

My friend was super disciplined and lost 5&1/2lbs this week. But I ate out on Friday, night out with friends (bacardi & pizza) on Saturday and family round on Sunday. I was careful of what I ate, but not as careful as I could have been. Still, I'm well pleased with that.

Hope everyone else is doing well - off now to update my sig!
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

    Hello everyone
Please can I join the 2lb a week club.........I really need the motivation!
I need to lose about a stone, my jeans don`t fit me anymore and it would hardly be moneysaving to go and replace all my clothes now would it?
Soo.......please, please, please can I join? I`ll try to be good!
    Manxie

Hello ms.manx yes! yes! yes! :D and welcome to our lovely thread :T . It was when my jeans got too tight and refused to stretch any further (despite a valiant effort on my part;) ) that inspired me to join in here and it was the best decision I've made in a long while:j. The motivation here is second to none. Will you be following any particular plan? Do you need to lose a lot or a little? Either way, amongst us all here we've got most methods covered so feel free to ask whatever you want and someone will try and help...

OK then, I'm just leaving this here so that it's not a big shock tomorrow when I weigh in, but........

... we're looking at a gain of about half a stone this week, and I'm deadly serious :o:D

Yes it was a great party (and spilled into all weekend), but boy do I have some work to do now :)

I can believe it about being serious - sadly I also have the capability to gain this kind of amount in a short time. We were talking about how much weight it is possible to lose in week one of any good diet, and I believe that 'fresh' weight gain is only temporary and it is highly likely that you will lose most of it again next week if you are good. DAY ONE TOMORROW :) Hope you had a good time.

oh my word Ajax - that must have been some party!eat-drink-smiley-5160.gif Ahh- don't worry about it. A hangover of 1/2 stone gain had to be worth it!.... Actually having a life this weekend was worth having my friend lose 3lbs more than me this week - she was so:A it was sickening BUT I proved I can still have fun and lose weight (so the last laugh is on me!).

Like everyone else says - day one tomorrow.
