Hello Peeps, Sorry I havent been around but we are still living at my parents house so limited internet access. I do try and read every now and then but by the time I get through all the pages (you lot love to chat!) I have no time for posting :)
Hows everyone? Good to see you back Jenpoptab and congrats on the little one. Am still trying to lose weight having put on 5lbs since the start of summer, a combination of stress, living at my parents and 3 weddings inc hen nights  Talked about rejoining SW last night but at the minute am pretty broke so just trying to do it at home. I hope to move home in the next 2-3 weeks so hopefully can really get stuck into it properly then. I have also been talking about going out running for weeks and last night DH persuaded me to go with him - I think he was sick listening to me talking about starting. I only ran a mile, it took me ages and I resembled a ribena berry on my return and could easily have done with an oxygen cylinder but I was so pleased with myself for going. I'm going to try and go again tonight and gradually increase the time and distance - hopefully this will help with the weight loss
Anyway, best go and do some work, will try and pop back later.
    Hope you are all well.

Thanks delly, dragon and beanie, it was indeed worth it :)
Lois I'm reporting a 3 lb gain this week which I'm pretty delighted with - it was much more than that yesterday lol. Efreize I'm sure you're right with the temporary gain and I expect to see that 3 lb come off next week, hopefully with a 1 lb friend to accompany him. Nothing to stand in the way of a good one this week so here's hoping.

Well done to all you losers and hello to the newbies. Stick around!!

Just read this through - nothing like putting yourself under pressure either :)

1 week left of the 5lb challenge... 6lb to go :rotfl: . Could be tricky hehe.

busy night on the thread! BB thank you for the advice, would you believe that I hadn't thought to do that? I think that is definitely the way forward. Welcomes (and welcome backs) to manxie and jenpoptab.

Huge congrats to all the losers who've posted, Delly and Newly Wed you must be very proud of yourselves. Ajax, sounds like you had one hell of a weekend, hope it was fun! Lois can you put me down on the chart for a 1.8kg loss this week? thank you, I'm really chuffed. V impressed at Honey going running, it's nice that your OH is supporting you like that. I'm sure that between all the SW bods using this forum we can keep you supplied with as much info as you need to go it alone - Just drop me a PM if you need any syn counts or anything - I usually check in at least once a day.

Furrypig are you going anywhere nice for your few days away? I've been saving my clubcard vouchers for a weekend in a fancy hotel but haven't quite got there yet so it will have to wait until spring next year.

...only 10 lbs to lose after 6 weeks of having a baby  I think I'm off to organise a lynch mob :rotfl: :rotfl: only joking jen; being a gold member of WW it's obvious that you've got everything under control, I'm a gold member too but I've fallen by the wayside many times since. You'll soon lose that little bit of weight. Is that Hayden featured in your avatar? He's lovely.

    xxxx

I could do with losing more, but to get to top of healthy Bmi I have to lose 4lb and I got lower than that so that's what I'm aiming for again. Can't re-join WW this wk or next as away from home but week after that I will be back. looking forward to it really- strange I know, but I like a challenge.

Oh yeah, sorry that is a pic of baby Hayden,

Thanks for all of your welcome back messages. I tried hard not to over do eating whilstb pregnant. Put on 2 stone and lost about 1 stone straightaway after having him, lost a few lb in last six weeks and now just aiming to get back into that goal weight area.

    Hi all,
Had my first weigh in at WW last night and lost 2.5lbs, got to admit I was a tad disappointed I always thought first weeks you dropped about 5lbs or does that not work at my advanced age (45) or with WW?
Anyway I am determined to rid myself of the remaining 23.5Lbs of ugly flesh no rush nice and steady seems to be the way to go.
I'm so pleased they are opening for weighing next week even though it is Bank Holiday as I know it will keep me stronger.
Ajax you are something of a legend!

..... lol. Saversarn, big losses on the first couple of weeks of a new plan can happen and are not unusual but they are by no means a given. Be pleased with your 2.5 lb, that's still very good. Go and grab yourself a 1kg bag of sugar and think "last week I was carrying around almost one and a half of these". Nothing to be disappointed with. :T

.... there's another thing. A big loss would come more typically from someone with more than that to lose.

....I am? What brought that on, not that I'm complaining? :D
