HELP!!!! It always happends I'm doing ok then totally blow it one day and can't get back into it!! What's wrong with me am I the only one who does this!!!
Usually weight myself on Monday Lunchtime in Bootsbut am on A/L this week with the children and all I see to do is eat!!! HELP HELP have been kidnapped by the fridge and have just munched my weight through the national debt of the world in Jaffa Cake!!!!

On a serious note can you all slap me about and help me get back on it have Best Mates Hen nite & wedding in Oct/Nov and don't want to be FAT in the piccies....

It sounds like you need one of these:

    biting-boot.gif

a proverbial kick up the bum, with teeth! :D

It might help if you focus on the reason you want to lose weight - before that piece of naughtiness passes the lips, ask yourself which you'd rather have, the treat, or to lose a pound or so and be nearer to your target. Quite often, the naughtiness wins, but at least you'll have made a considered choice. :)

Ooh you've asked for it now beardy: petrichor will be along with her big stick soon. For someone on the teeny side she doesn't half punch a big thwack with her stick.
Get back to some low fat nice snacks that don't do much damage is my suggestion and think about that wedding. How about delicious slices of melon? Or a 45g packet of chocolate buttons: suck one at a time. Muller light toffee yogurt? MMmmmm.
You are definitely not the only one to do this. And tomorrow IS day one and you WILL get back on track...or I'll send the lads round.

Welcome Mrs Manx and hollyh: we're a friendly bunch here (unless you ask for a talking to). Let us know how you plan to lose your weight and we'll offer support :j Welcome back enpoptab - I'm a newby since you were last here :D

katyk - I don't think it was pitiful to spary airfreshener on your leftovers, I think it was inspired work of genious and I will definitely bear than one in mine: good on you for not eating it and putting it out of reach :T

Glad you had a good time letting your hair down Ajax :D

ajax ..A lovely lady called consultant31 who was (AND WILL BE AGAIN) a regular contributor here PM'd me and I had a 'little chat' with her, also my daughter sometimes follows this thread and she spotted my post by chance as I'd not told her. After a couple of days or so, I saw sense and apologised to everyone and asked to rejoin :o ...

And I'm so glad you did, you've been fantastic since then, always ready to welcome, congratulate and encourage everybody - this thread wouldn't be the same without you.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the warm welcome,
Sorry I didnt post back last night, I went to my sisters for tea. Less said the better calorie wise!
Anyway, starting today I am going to try to eat more sensibly, and exercise more. If I can do that I should lose some weight.....I hope.
Right, I am inspired enough by all you lovely people to go and walk the dog.
    Will check in later.
    Love Manxie

PS. What day do we post our weight loss?

aaaagh the boot! it's all coming back to me now . . . . . katyk that was inspired with the air freshener but I bet your work colleagues thought you were mad. Petrichor, it has been nagging me for ages, I couldn't remember whether it was you that was getting disheartened at about the same time as i left the thread - to see how far you've come in such a short space of time is really exciting and inspirational. Just about to pop off and post on the recipes board as I just had an absolutely gorgeous moussaka for tea and it was all free on red giving me my whole 15 syns to spend on 100g of ben and jerry's. mmmmm . . i had forgotten how fab SW was!!

I went to WW once religious filled in the tracker for 4 weeks and I didn't cheet once and loss ZERO.. in the end they kept giving me free weeks!! Went to slimming world for 10 weeks weight 1lb more at the end of it...

So I get disheartened and then raid the jaffa cakes!!! But I have now been told so lets see what tomorrow brings....
