    Hi folks
Have read your 'embarrasing' post, Petrichor, and you are not the only one. I am sure I have written something quite similar on here in the past when in the process of packing it all in - yet again...
At least you picked yourself up and got on with it and, boy, look at your success now!:T It is actually MUCH more encouraging to all the rest of us to see someone stumble then get up again than to see someone just sail through it all. If it was that easy none of us would need to lose weight in the first place!

3lb ain't so bad, Ajax - especially when you look at how far you have come!
I am sure it will soon come back off.

Lois - can I go back on the 2lb chart please? I was on once before but dropped off many months ago. Starting weight is 15st 6lb as at 20/8/07 and ultimate target is 10st

I have now completed (almost) 2 whole days without cheating! Sounds small but from little acorns...:D
Came close today when staff meal of ham salad came with large dollop of beautiful homemade creamy coleslaw and about 2oz grated cheddar on it despite my asking them not to. Much harder to resist if actually on plate in front of you - even more so when you are alone in office and cannot leave to take plate back to kitchen right away as it means leaving the phones. Still, I managed to make myself leave them to one side and ate the ham and veg, along with my soup. Actually resorted to spraying airfreshener on the leftovers once I had finished so I couldn't be tempted:rotfl: :rotfl: Pitiful or what:o

Have decided to set myself a walking challenge of 70000 steps per week rather than 10000 per day - only started this morning and up to 5085 so far so will need to go walkies tonight.

I've just previewed this post and spotted Skint_Catt mentioning her disappointment so I've trawled back and found that embarrassing post :rotfl: :rotfl:
    xxxx

Not sure about you being in tears writing it, I was welling up reading it, you sounded so low, could not see light at the end of the tunnel and now look at you! You fraud:p . So glad you turned it around certainly made me realise my 2.5lbs was not too bad at all:T

    .... excellent work, Spaniel :)

BTW, I switched avatars on today, and that fella in yours is a dead ringer for my old Springer..... just about 10 years younger. I bet mine is more stupid than yours though :)

Sorry about that Peeps :o I've calmed down now. I was going to edit the post to delete the link but it's obviously caused a bit of merriment and as saversarn said I did manage to turn it round and go on lose my weight, so I hope it helps anyone else who has 2 consecutive low losses or doesn't lose as much as they expect - the stupid thing is is that I didn't gain or maintain, so why the fuss  ...anyway to finish my previous post...

...Yes honey it has made a huge difference, and some of the clothes that I wanted to get back into are now too big while some that I bought 2 years ago hoping that they'd fit me (didn't think I needed to try them on in the shop :o ) now fit beautifully but I'm waiting for the hot weather to get the benefit of them - there's always something!! As beanie said earlier "sometimes life gets in the way"...

...katyk I think you deserve a medal for coping how you did this lunchtime :T it must be so hard, personally I think I'd have snaffled the lot down and starved for the rest of the day - NO! THAT IS NOT A SUGGESTION  - free food and all that, crumbs! - Keep it up, it'll be worth it ...

ajax ..A lovely lady called consultant31 who was (AND WILL BE AGAIN) a regular contributor here PM'd me and I had a 'little chat' with her, also my daughter sometimes follows this thread and she spotted my post by chance as I'd not told her. After a couple of days or so, I saw sense and apologised to everyone and asked to rejoin :o ...

...I didn't get round to doing a menu plan this week and boy don't I know it! I'm winging it but I'm making myself stick to using what I've got in the cupboards etc so at least I won't be wasting anything. Tonight it's sausage casserole for the troops and chicken breast for me, with new potatoes and broccoli, which I'm off to do after I've said ...

...Well done spaniel :j :j a lovely example to us all :) ...

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Have some 'cheese and herb chicken' in the oven from the recipes section and it smells yummy!

Will let you know how tasty it is later.

No one answered my question yesterday which was is it ok not to weigh for next week (lost 2lbs for this week my weigh in is Thursday) ????

I will then weigh in for the week after so will be the weight lost over 2 weeks. Does that make sense and is it allowed??? Going away for a few days so no access to our 'fat club's' scales.

Thanks and well done to all you losers!!

furrypig - of course weighing in 2 weeks time is "allowed" - This is as much your thread as it is anyone elses. You can arrange the challenge in any way you wish

Have a great time on you "few days away" and don't be worrying too much about the scales - they'll still be there when you come back.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
