Hi, I would like to report a 1lb loss this week. Well done all of you whohave lost or maintained. I was weighed by my gp yesterday too and he is pleased with my gradual loss he tells me so that made me feel good. I then went to the pub to celebrate, two glasses of wine. It doesn't seem to have made a difference on my weight today.

I am going to go back and read all of your posts now. I share my PC with five 17-22 year olds so not much time available for me.

Well done to all you lovely losers :T delly:j , poohbear:j , saversarn - it's unfortunate but it's a fact, that, as we grow older our metabolism slows down so don't be too disappointed, 2.5lbs is a good start and the most important thing is to keep going :j , efrieze :j - I completely agree with you about 'fresh' weight, if you tackle it straight away it does disappear just as quickly... so I was pleased to see that ajax's gain wasn't as bad as anticipated :j and I hope you lose the rest+ next week :j ...

...Hi hollyh and welcomelilltlekv6.pngas you can see we certainly have a lot of success here and I hope you do too. 4 stones isn't a lot and you'll get plenty of inspiration here to help you along the way :) ...

...honey hugskc8.gifI'm pleased that you're still reading us, I don't envy you at all having to live like that for so long, never mind it'll soon be over and WELL DONE on the running  :T that should help with the manufacture of endorphines so you'll be happier and slimmer :j ...

 Petrichor - Just read your signature, what a result :T Well done, thats a fantastic loss and to think you nearly packed it all in at one stage. I bet you are glad that you didnt. I'm sure you are noticing a big difference in your lifestyle and in the clothes that you wear. Is it difficult to maintain?
The running was good, although DH didnt even break sweat or get out of breath. He's being really supportive, he had already been to the gym and done his own 1hr workout so this was like his "cool down"

Lost 1Lb last night at SW. Very disappointed after my 7.5lb loss last week, but then last time I did SW I put on in my 2nd week. At least it's a loss!!!

I don't really do weekly meal plans as I simply don't stick to them... tried it petrichor, didn't work for me :p I plan for a day instead, so just in case anyone sees anything they might like (numbers in brackets are WW points)......

    Breakfast
50g Weight Watchers raspberry cereal (2.5) with 1/4 pint skimmed milk (0.5)

    Lunch
Ross frozen vegetable hotpot* (2.5) with a portion of Weight Watchers carrot and swede mash* (3)

    Tea
Large pitta bread (3.5) filled with three sliced Quorn sausages (3) and lots of fried onion

*Not really one for plastic food but the necessity arises sometimes when at work and facilities are limited.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the warm welcome,
Sorry I didnt post back last night, I went to my sisters for tea. Less said the better calorie wise!
Anyway, starting today I am going to try to eat more sensibly, and exercise more. If I can do that I should lose some weight.....I hope.
Right, I am inspired enough by all you lovely people to go and walk the dog.
    Will check in later.
    Love Manxie

PS. What day do we post our weight loss?

That's exactly what was running through my mind when I read saverarns post and prompted my reply :j I feel [strike]quite [/strike] very embarrassed now to think that someone's remembered :o:o :rotfl: but you're right, I am so glad that I carried on and I put that down to all the fantastic support from this thread.

I've just previewed this post and spotted Skint_Catt mentioning her disappointment so I've trawled back and found that embarrassing post :rotfl: :rotfl: what an !!!! (anagram of sare:D )I was :rotfl: I even gave it a title :rotfl: :o :rotfl: :o it's making me laugh and cringe at the same time now but I can assure you I was in tears then, I felt so low...

...Make the most of it folks :rotfl: I've totally lost the plot now :rotfl: I'm away with the fairies laught16yl5.gif

......I've just read that post petrichor and I really want to laugh out loud.... laugh at how you turned it around rather than any hint of schadenfreude, honestly. You must have felt quite low but you know better yourself now don't you? Can't be losing 3lb every week, it just doesn't work that way. Did you get talked out of jacking it or did you talk yourself out of it?

Hehehehe I'm off to read it again.
