[quote=petrichor;6056081]If you're the slim young blonde that wears tight jeans that MrP just happens to notice every morning (he has it timed to perfection:rotfl: ) then personally I think that you mince too much for my liking and definitely too feminine!!!.....but these are modern times...hey ho!...

Sounds like you live in Brighton already Petrichor...:rotfl: Yes we do still have a nudist beach. I've even tried it out.
Visited parents yesterday who greeted me with 'ooh aren't you looking lovely and slim'And OH swears he didn't secretly ring them beforehand to prime them :j. It's relative though - still plenty to go before I am in good shape, but it was very nice all the same to know the 16lbs I've lost so far is making a difference.
Katiepc: well done for not eating the defrosting icecream. Is it possible to write a pleasant but brief email to this unpleasant aquaintance to say your correspondence has ended and you won't be opening any more emails from her and then select block sender? Why should you put up with this abusive intrusion into your home? If you block sender then there won't be any temptaion to continue this 'discussion.'
bails: having had similar health issues to you in the past you have all my sympathy -I used to eat to desparately find some energy too. It's what I have found so helpful about SW in that it enables me to eat plenty to cope with that.
Have you bought your life changing slow cooker yet we are always skint?
Must go and do the fortnightly internet shop and a bit of menu planning.:A

P.S. Petrichor, just wanted to say I think you're great the way you always make sure you give a good welcome to newbies (as do many of you) and give such great advice:T and I always look forward to your contributionsAnd Lois, you're great too  , and thanks a lot for your weekly chart :T .
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
And as for the £'s for lbs - there is a challenge too...

Most have pledged to put a £5 in a jar for each lb they lose and then when they reach target it gets spent on treats- clothes whatever!!
Well! Of all the blinkin' blimeys :rotfl: - I've been doing mine since the 8th January - Never mind, I just hope that someone noticed my sig on one of my rare visits elsewhere on these forums and felt inspired :j ...

...Hello, I'm back after having my third baby. I'm off to Gp for six week post natal check and if given go ahead will be back here to try and get back to goal. Think I have 10 lb ish to lose. Will go back to WW as I am gold member.
...only 10 lbs to lose after 6 weeks of having a baby  I think I'm off to organise a lynch mob :rotfl: :rotfl: only joking jen; being a gold member of WW it's obvious that you've got everything under control, I'm a gold member too but I've fallen by the wayside many times since. You'll soon lose that little bit of weight. Is that Hayden featured in your avatar? He's lovely.

Hello everyone
Please can I join the 2lb a week club.........I really need the motivation!
I need to lose about a stone, my jeans don`t fit me anymore and it would hardly be moneysaving to go and replace all my clothes now would it?
Soo.......please, please, please can I join? I`ll try to be good!

Hi manxie. That's why I'm here too - because most of the contents of my wardrobe doesn't fit me
However I did have a trying on session yesterday and discovered another skirt that now fits and one that is now TOO BIG!!!
What sort of eating plan you thinking of? I'm just doing healthy eating and cutting out the biscuits and cakes (apart from Saturday when I gave in to some biscuits)

Wow, Starlight - that is some overall weight. Most impressed!
As for your baby, Jenpoptab, he is positively edible (possibly not the best thing on this thread..). Almost makes me want to go back to stage one again. well......almost....0 -
Well done everyone!!
Sounds like you are doing great.
I had a fab weekend at a not so summer ball and ate some naughty things and drank lots of wine!! I also did lots of dancing (must've used up some calories surely??) so I had sore feet and a sore head on Sunday morning. I then had a fabulous cooked brekkie (as at a B &but only ate veggies and a bit of meat from my roast dinner (and no pud!).
On annual leave this week and going away for a few days so will miss my weekly weigh in on Thursday, is it ok if I do 2 weeks and let you know then??
Suspect I will enjoy myself when away as it's the only break this summer now.0 -

Hi Jenwelcome back and congratulations on the arrival of Hayden, he is gorgeous! I'm really impressed at how well you've done with your weight during pregnancy, 10lbs will disappear in no time, especially if you're feeding him yourself. What do the girls think of their new baby brother?
