Phew! Just had a major clean of the bathroom and kitchen! That must have burnt a few Kcals off LOL
Basically someone is coming to view the property we are currently renting so it needs to look halfway decent! The one thing they will have to look around is the number of books/DVDs/CDs we have of which some will be already boxed up and in the spare room!:rotfl:
Ah well - final load of laundry about to go in - I think I can allow myself a couple of ciders tonight :beer:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
.......no confusion BB, I just saw tiredycustard's situation as a little different to the norm because of:
- what seems like a severe lack of time, which sounds as if staying to class would be very tough (and I think you'd agree there's no point paying if not staying to class?)
- she's veggie and would only ever do greens, so to be honest, I reckon I got it covered.Been there, done that, ate the cruelty-free t-shirt.:D
You are spot on though, for anyone who will be alternating between days I think it's pretty essential to go and stay for a few months because it has to become second nature what constitutes a HeB on both days.
Ajax, I'm going to say those 4 little words you love so much... Ajax, you're so right.
I'm sorry saversarn but I have absolutely no sympathy for you  you come here, join us and then tell us that you're off to TEXAS .. Oh dear! indeed :rotfl: It's a good job that Brighton belle and Katiepc are here to keep me company in my holidayless lifebut  hmm! Brighton is on the coast hmm!...
Mmmm rumbled. Fab place as it is to live, Brighton beach at this time of the year is my idea of hell. And a holiday is about a change of scene (well not that I'd count a trip to Croyden as a holiday either, just coz it was a change of scene...:rotfl: ) Perhaps we could do one of theose house swap holidays with each other Petrichor!!! (Unless you live in Croyden!:rotfl: )
Welcome Dragon :hello:
Brighton belle (who isn't going to the beach this weekend whatever the weather)

so how is a french keyboard different bails? Does it have a beret on and a string of onions?
Today was shaping up to be a great day - day off from work, chance to catch up with all my stuff, had a great night working on my business last night . . . .
so the freezer defrosted! well part defrosted, so i've had to take it the rest of hte way. And i've had yet another traumatic email from someone who won't just walk away from a situation so i sat down and had a little cry and then felt better because I hadn't eaten the ice cream that had defrosted. I'm having a green day so tonight i will try th recipe for rice and potato soup that i've been hoarding for an emergency carb overload.
tiredycustard, I am in awe! I can't cope with work and house, I admire anyone who can throw kids into the mix as well. The slow cooker idea is excellent and there is a thread somewhere on the board that has lots of slow cooker recipes on it - alternatively just use existing recipe books - i find that anything that is supposed to cook for 40 mins or more will usually translate to the slow cooker. I do SW too and you really get results when you stick to it. IF you don't have the time to attend classes, try buying a few magazines as they will help you enormously. I use their bodyoptimise online service which has syn search functions, recipes and online food diaries. Have you thought about getting a camping fridge or similar? Mine is a godsend, works off calor gas, mains or caravan battery. It ends up coming put every christmas as an additional fridge.0 -

I NEED to shift 140lbs  piled on after a road accident and the subsequent steroids (followed by the Docs saying lose weight - here have some more tablets that are steroid based!) I have shirted 21lbs on my own but some support would be good :rotfl:. Hmm how much does a slimming club cost per week? as sticking that in my savings account for paying off my CC would be good! at the moment I stick a £ per lb in there to pay for some new clothes
Hello
Well done on losing 21lbs thats a brilliant start.
As someone has said a club would be around a fiver a week.
What diet are you thinking of starting?0 -
Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind if I join in?
I haven't posted on this thread before but I have been on holiday for two weeks and the 7lbs I gained there, added to the lbs that I gained during a stressful work period mean I have about a stone to lose. I hadn't really noticed my weight creeping up but when I was on holiday I was certainly not svelte in my bikini, even less so when I came home.
I have been registered before with Rosemary Conley online and with weightlossresources.com. I don't really like the thought of going to a class, after all, I know the theory so why should I pay £5 a week for someone to tell me to cut out chips?
I think I will be too late to join your challenge but I will pop in every now and then for a chat.

I lost the first 21 lbs by eating Averyedically (not sure if that is a word or not!
) - basically eating for my body type - which in my case means lots of veggie food (yum!), spices and chilli (double yum!) but cutting down on mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes and wheat
At the moment though we seem to be living on sarnies (um about this wheat thing!), pasties (:eek:) and cider!
Ok we are moving house and it is stressful - but I need to get back on track and soon!:think::shhh:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
