Does anyone know the points value of a angel delight no added sugar?
I t is 47g but is confusing me 'cause it says on the back per 100g as sold (but it is not sold as 100g it is 47g?) then it says 89 g serving prepared with semi-skimmed milk (I used skimmed) 88 calories but it only has 47g...
So, please help..how many calories has the 47g packet made with skimmed milk and how many points?;)0 -

Aspire swimming challenge started today and myself and DD have just got back from swimming 40 x 25 metres, that's 1000 metres down and only 34200 to go!!!! I've also cycled 6.2 miles today and managed to cycle all the way up one of the hills on the way to work for the first time (usually have to walk it) I am really amazed at how much fitter I feel in just 2 weeks. If anyone else out there is debating exercise I would definately recommend it, just stick to what you like and don't force yourself to jog or do aerobics when it is simply not for you. I cycle and swim and walk the dog - I enjoy doing them and it is working.
Hay ho!!
Hubby just told me that my bum and face look slimmer so that's a boost I'm hoping he looks at face a little more often than bum but any compliment is good at the moment.:T
Keep going everyone - there must be a pot of gold at the end of the yellow brick road (or was is handsome prince??):rotfl: :rotfl:
Wow! You sound really active Annie, I decided to get on my bike yesterday to take my Amazon sales to the Sunday PO Collection Office. It only took me 15 minutes to get there (all down hill), unfortunately coming home took somewhat longer (obviously all up hill). I arrived home with a very red face due to the cycling/walking home.
My OH has been quite complimentary too about the weight loss and that really helps. 19lbs so far, haven't made up my mind what to set my target at, somewhere between 18lb and 26lb I guess. I seem to be quite steady at 2lb a week following RC so perhaps by Christmas I might be there.

As a meat eater, I wasnt sure about Quorn, but now dont use anything else in bolognese.
Best way to find out for sure is to try it0 -
Reporting a 3lb loss this week.:j
1969baby .. well done for your 6.5 lbs and all due to eating beans I suppose. So it'll be beans again for me tonight and never mind the f*rting.
And the quorn. Yes Ajax I know it's unreasonable and irrational to want to know what quorn tastes like when cooked and I wouldn't expect tofu or bean curd to taste like meat. But Quorn was invented/marketed so much more recenty -- well within my lifetime anyway -- that to me it's a new fangled peculiar thing. So what DOES it taste like? If the answer is nothing that's fine. But I wondered if the manufacturers tried to make it taste like something ... maybe even jelly and icecream ... or what about chocolate?0 -
Hiya All
Not been around for a while due to work and holidays but I really really need some help as my weight is really going up. I am now back to 11.12 which is just so bad and I have no will power that is the main problem. Just got back from a week in Spain lots of drinking and eating so decided no more when back in UK. I was good with breakfast and lunch but then had 1/2 packet of smoked Almonds before I went to the gym. Then back home had 2 glasses of wine with dinner (tried to resist but did not manage it) and then a hot chocolate made from real chocolate afterwards. Dinner was jacket with Philly and a bit of bacon.
So need your support will have to come on here and read how well you are all doing and hope that will keep me off the bad stuff.

........there's no real 'it', Nise. It's akin to asking "What do crisps taste like?". It is given flavourings, but that's largely by-the-by. The 'chicken' substitute varieties are given textures, flavours and looks to mirror chicken, burgers are given textures, looks and flavours to mirror burgers etc. As the vast majority of taste is done with the nose/preconceived mind and not the tongue then quorn will take on the flavours of what it's cooked with, and will taste how you imagine you want it to taste. For a cottage pie, add beef stock (or even better, Vecon if you can get it [no killing involved]) and strong herbs - same as everything (meats included), it tastes like the stuff it's cooked with.
