two bars of chocolate, and two bottles of pepsi max. Stupid really.

That's the real world for you, it is not going to change ,it will always be challenging but it is how you handle it that counts... I look at everything now portion size wise, I have a huge liking for Green & Black dark choc which I never liked before but was given a 15g taster bars box of them for my birthday (stupid present for a diabetic but there you go!!) 2 points on WW, the choc is so dark and rich it really is unnecessary to have more than just a taster and be satisfied with that, even for me half of the 15g bar would be plenty, it really is to be savoured, such lovely choc, so anyway either go for the dark choc or another way , think of what you want to eat, like your two bars of choc but half the portion size in your head before you eat it....

For some unknown reason I have reverted back to white bread rather than wholemeal and would if left alone have 4/6 slices of it in one sitting, happily but now I think first in my head that I would like to have 2 slices and only have 1.... that and bacon but now I have turkey rashers less than 3% fat and would like to have 4/6 slices of that but have max 2, (25 calories a slice)it is all about having what you fancy, want, crave but only having the bare minimum of it to enjoy it, savour it and move on...

I made the pepperoni and parmesan pitta pizzas from the cook yourself thin channel 4 show today for lunch and they were very well recieved, I had no cheese so did not put that on and had no pepperoni so none of that either:rotfl: :rotfl: but H said that the colours on the pitta were very appetising, fresh and inviting and would have it again any day and the kids loved it too, although they put to one side the sun dried tomatoes but it is a clever easy way to get the kids to eat more fresh healthy stuff, even the little one had no objections, I used wholemeal pitta bread at 147 calories per bread and added on bits and pieces I had in the fridge the main being tuna as all the family love tuna, great success:j :j

  • I'm another one thats fallen off the wagon. Wouldn't be so bad but I'd only just got back on it. I've eaten anything and everthing this weekend, drank a bottle of wine, why. I wasn't even hungry. I think I'm bored with counting calories, I'm wondering if I should try a different plan.
  • How weird is this? I've had an off weekend too. It must be the weather. I ate over my points on Thursday, but was good on Friday (had pointed for a chinese but it was too spicy and couldn't eat it all). Was good yesterday (went to a friends house to get my palm read - nothing enlightening there!) and this evening has been a bit of a disaster!

I think we could all do with a hug!

Maybe a group hug is a better idea.

For anyone who is calorie counting or following WW, if you pull back a few points every day from now till WI you might see a difference than if you just ignore it. As far as I remember from SW, if you went a bit bonkers with your syns, you're supposed to count them but still go back to day 1 the next day and ignore it. I know that Ajax has said before that he would have pulled back on syns for a few days after a blow out so maybe it works that way too.

Personally,I've noticed over the past few weeks that the only way to get over a blow out is to pay attention to your body's signals and learn from experience. My first major blow out on WW was because I wanted pizza and oven chips for tea, but was being super good and didn't have them - but then again, I ended up eating rings round me straight afterwards because I felt deprived. Having said that, the following day, I hardly ate anything at all because I wasn't hungry.

Suggs - I thought pepsi max was sugar free? Does that not mean that there's no calories in it?

Anyway, hopefully we'll all get back on track tomorrow. Day one for all of us I think.happy-smiley-8835.gif

    Good luck everyone.

OK so we're all off the wagon. I have pigged out every day since last Monday and feel SO fat now. I stepped on the scales this morning and had to laugh at the result - I won't say how much on except that it was double digits. I won't be weighing in this week at all as it won't be representative - I'm just going to have an angelic week and see what I can claw back, should get it back to something sensible.

Just cos it was my birthday didn't mean it had to go on for a week, and with so many others falling off the wagon.... I wonder what it is. Reckon we've all had a subconscious sulk with the end of 'summer'?

Keep going to those who lost their way on the 'yellow brick road'.
I have been good this week and continued my exercise and would like to report a 6 1/2LB loss - no your not seeing things it really is 6 1/2lb. I have been exercising as normal and eating as normal so I really am gobsmacked.
    Lets hope it continues.
Start my swimming challenge today so my exercise will be increased even further by 120 x 25 metre lengths of a poll every week.
    wish me luck
